Can you get a ring in an armor set that is usually crafted?

FelixTheGreat
I am just getting into the armor and weapon set stuff and I had a quick question. Is there any way that I can get a ring or necklace from a set that is usually craftable. Specifically I am looking for the Whitestrake's Retribution armor set, is there any way for me to get the rings and necklace for that set?

Dropped Sets frequently have Jewelery that is part of the Set to make the Bonuses happen. You may find a set of those that compliment the Crafted Set, but won't count towards the set you craft. So, you could find two rings and an amulet from a dropped set. I don't know if all the dropped sets have jewelry or not.

No. Most sets do NOT have jewelry. I would recommend heading to a site that lists out current sets, both crafted and dropped, and plan out what you are looking for ahead of acquiring pieces that stat good, but won't fit well with other sets.

There are only a few gear builds that will allow you to have a pair of five piece sets going at the same time. For example, Warlock and Seducer will do that. Warlock has three jewelry pieces and three armor pieces, so it can go with Seducer that has no jewelry pieces. Giving Warlock worn as three jewelry and two armor, along with five Seducer armor pieces.

    Good Luck!

Yes they do. Looks like about half the Dropped Sets have some jewelry.
