Southern Nevada. So perhaps, yes. The game knows I rarely see rain and is making sure I know there's more to life than blowing dust and soul piercing sunshine.

I've spent most of my ESO life in High Rock so yeah, I see it rain pretty often, but it doesn't bother me. The first time I wandered into Cyrodiil and spent some time roaming around in the northern region I was so amazed that it was snowing instead of raining.

I love the rain whether it's virtual or in real life. I'm always irritated when I log in and it's all bright and sunny, don't want to hang around much then. But when it rains that's where want to be! The rainy zones are my favorite places, I hate being out in the desert regions. I love the thunder storms in Glenumbra, and actually feel like I'd like to see the rain itself coming down a bit harder sometimes. I would only mind more weather if it was making it impossible to see anything and slowing your movement - like the snow storms in Skyrim.
However, I have noticed that for some reason it seems to be the middle of the night about 70% of the time that I'm online... I dunno... it's like the daytime always feels short, and the nights seem longer, is it Winter in Tamriel? How long will winter last? It's great for harvesting materials because they show up well, and it'll be great once I become a vampire, but it just strikes me as a bit off-balanced. Like I'll notice the sun coming up from the east and it feels like shortly thereafter I'm heading 'east' only to realize that actually the sun is setting now and I've gotten myself turned around.Edited by Marcusstratus on August 13, 2014 1:24AM0 -

I manage to log in right as the sun sets in the west everytime. That I attribute to bad luck but I'm guaranteed it'll be raining when I login until I logout... well, not true the sun came out for a minute or two a few times. I spend all those fleeting moments staring directly at the sun until it rains again.

Zone: Deshaan
- Sunday: played around 7 - 8 hours. Rained well over 50% (to be conservative); mostly 16-17 level quests
- Monday: played 4.5 - 5 hours. Rained nearly the entire time I played (90%+); mostly 18-19 level quests
- Tuesday: played 6 hours. Hasn't rained one time; few overcast times, yet no rain; mostly 20-21 level quests
I'm sure the zone itself is part of the equation too but has little weight.0 -
