What Add-on manager is the best?

zaxthegreyb14_ESO
I'm currently using 5 or 6 add-ons to play ESO.

The Add-on manager I'm using is Minion by ESOUI.

I notice that even very popular add-ons from this site seem to be out of date.

Is there a better Add-on manager out there? If so, what is it and where do I get it?

I remember for Skyrim, I used something called Nexus Mod Manager. So I wonder if there are other, better Add-on managers out there that I'm just missing.

Thanks for any advice.

    Minion is the only one.

If addon devs aren't updating their addons, Minion won't have anything to update to. That has nothing to do with the application itself.

    You could also try Curse

The only two I've seen so far are Minion and Curse, but I prefer Minion this time around. ESOUI seems to have a more active community with a larger selection of addons to choose from.

I don't know how often the add-ons are updated for Curse. Minion is pretty good.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

I have used both and gave up on Curse as the most of the add-on developers have moved on so if they are updating their add-on, they normally only do it on ESOUI and not curse.

Most of the add-on's I used I have had to edit myself as the owner no longer players ESO and therefore no longer supports them

I just stuff em' in the AddOns dir. Works very well, I'm not sure why one would need a manager. It's not like modding Fallout 3, or anything that nasty.

The manager is an easy way to know what addons are currently installed (and read aobut what it is they do again) and of course the auto-update function.

Why would you not just post this in the add-on forum?
