Hi,
As the title points out, this is a note that some 'crossfire' users may find helpful and not a bug or such.
With 'crossfire' we know that the 'true full screen' fix upped our (for many of us) FPS.
We 'crossfire' users also know about updating our drivers or, in some cases, downgrading for best performance.
What is easy to miss is the option in CCC* (some may see ECC**) that enables crossfire. More specifically for ESO is the option to 'Enable AMD CrossfireX for applications that have no associated application profile'. When the latter option is not enabled, ESO will likely not make use of Crossfire! The result could be a massive hit on FPS. So! Switch it on!
I know that ,to some, this post will seem pedantic. However, it is very easy to miss this option (these options) when upgrading or downgrading drivers / CCC - especially if uninstalling the old before installing the version you want to use.
As obvious as this may all seem, I hope this note helps some.
*CCC - Catalyst Control Centre.
**ECC - Engine Control Centre (not seen so much in my experience).
Edit: small tidy up.
