Can we get a thread dedicated to thank ZOS and Bethesda for the amazing game they have here? I look at these forums and it's just "problem after problem" with some of you guys. Just want to give a shout out to the devs and say there are some of us who are loving this amazing game! Keep at it, your hard work isn't going unnoticed and we'll be sticking around to enjoy this for another while

Actually we got a few of those over the times.
They tend to be overshadowed by the looud minority of people who have problems (or make themself problems). But there are there. Treads like:

This forum tends to be a place for complaints, sure, but the community managers and ZOS in general should be aware of that. They can compare the number of people complaining here and in the support tickets to the total number of players. They know exactly how big that silent majority is. We don't, and we need to speak up on the problems so they can decide how serious they are and how important or unimportant it is to fix them.

I would be a lot more worried if the game had serious bugs and nobody cared enough to comment on them. That would mean people were just giving up and leaving.

On topic, I have been playing this game for a fair amount of hours per week since release, and I have had a blast at best, and a mostly OK experience at worst. I admire the huge and beautiful game world, the mostly well written and well acted dialogue, the sheer amount of quests wity good variety, and the general game design.

I may not be in it for the long haul, but so far I am enjoying the ride.

Have to say game is great!

If only I was younger and not tied down by so many adulthood obligations, I'd have more time to explore more aspects og the game and not still be only VR3 4 months in ;-)

I like the game, it offers me and my friends game play we have not seen in a long time, I like all the options and things to do, even with the bugs to me it is still the best thing going atm, as the bugs get fixed and the games expands with more content and features it will only get better /crosses fingers

I don't care how many people complain, because most people who do that are looking for a polished game. From what ZOS has done so far i give them all sorts of credit and many thanks.

Let me start with a few facts:

    1) This has been the cleanest launch that i have seen in a long time, and when i say clean im talking about server stability and also they are doing a killer job fixing as many bugs as possible. Most people think this is easy but you have to test fixes not just apply them. 1 change in the code to fix 1 bug could cause 100 more.

    2) The rate at which they are fixing bugs has been phenominal, server downtime is very minimal and there has been no other companies fixing bugs this fast.

    3) The lack of communication was a big problem for myself. The information was very minimal and i had nothing to look forward to because the only thing we knew about was the next patch. So when ZOS did quakecon and went over information that would probably detail the next year worth of ESO and that made me extremely excited to know what their plans were for this game.

Those are the 3 biggest things that i have appreciated about ZOS over the last few months. And for that, WE THANK YOU ZOS!!!

At the launch I got pretty frustrated at times and lag issues here and there are still causing me trouble, similar to my pet not attacking when commanded or required.
For the rest though, I must admit that ZOS has done a splendid job on fixing bugs and releasing new content at the same time. I appreciate the things they're doing and I love this game. I'm glad I signed up for 6 months in advance and I do hope to stay for many more

I really enjoy this game as well, They seem to be moving out updates at a decent speed. I just hope they get those bugs ironed out. Honestly it reminds me of a number of MMO's I have played from launch... same issues a lot of the time, Heh. Regardless, I foresee myself hanging around for a long time, thanks to the people working on this game. ;)

I've played WoW one time, hated the game, personally i started my MMO playing with EQ, moved on to EQ2, Rift, SWTOR and tons of other MMO's out of all of them this has been the most successful launch. Even this precious WoW started off rough with tons of bugs, so did EQ and so did EQ2 and everyone else that has ever made an MMO. It's one thing to state an opinion that you assume most of us don't know anything, it's fact to state that ESO has had one of the most successful launch of an MMO.

I am appreciative of my mom for providing a roof over my head, food in my belly, and a bed to sleep on. I also want to thank her for not kicking me out when it took over a year to find a job and I was in a depression. Lastly thank you for keeping track of all the money you have given me and making me pay you back. I am stuck here for another year.

Yes I love this game and the direction. The world, the quests, the professions and for the most part the players.

There's not much to "change" on it, just to add, but addons have covered some of those areas nicely! So not only is this a shout out to ZOS, but to the modders out there giving up their spare time to help the game along with the details!

It is a shame about the "loudness" of many of the complaints. I think that people sometimes forget that when constructive criticism is given it's for positive purposes. Unfortunately too many (especially the less experienced) take these criticisms as just complaints they can then carry on over zone chat, forums, and whatever other methods just for the sake of complaining and perhaps feeling as a part of the in crowd or attention seeking.

Yet they continue to play while discouraging new players! (Whether or not this is unwittingly).

My overall point: Hopefully there will continue to be a strong presence of positive players who are able to encourage new players (as they have me, and as I'm continuing to as well) by being helpful in game, crafting free gear to get them on their way, and showing them around.

Positive players bring more players, and more players in an MMO means more fun!

Keep up the good work ZOS, I'm sure most of us will do our best on our end to support you! Even if we aren't as loud and obvious, we are not few.

Playing since just after launch, still only level 33 ^^ (across 3 characters in 3 factions)

ZOS know we appreciate the game when we pay for the sub fee, and know when we don't as we stop paying the sub fee
If anything ZOS should like the criticism as only by taking the criticism/suggestions can they actually improve the game - and make us more likely to appreciate the game and pay the sub fee

Great game. It is still providing hours of entertainment every night after work, and it's good value for money ( $15 per month is 4 cups of coffee in the city ). The devs do a great job.

I work in the IT industry, in a role in which customer service is paramount, so I know what a tough gig it can be. The whining I see on this forum reminds of many of the difficult customers I deal with.

The thing is, though - any idiot can be a critic, but Its a lot harder to actually create and produce something of value. In my opinion, ZoS have managed the unrealistic expectations of some of the petulant brats on this forum competently, and have been very responsive with their updates. Especially when you consider the broad range of agendas in this community, which often conflict with each other.

Keep up the good work, Zenimax.

This is definitley in my top 10 of all time favorite games.
Some of the specific things I like are:
-the placeable waypoint marker on the map.
-when Molag Bal gets annoyed and yells "irrelevant!" After shutting down a dolmen. Hes pretending hes not mad, but hes totally mad.
-hanging out with the mentally ill homeless people squatting beneath elden root.

I think about it all the time too  But no, I didn't mistake those people for trolls, I only wished that instead of only complaining to ZOS but enjoying the good game in your private capacity we would complain to the ZOS AND let them know about what we're enjoying about it.

Since Morrowwind, been a huge fan of the series and played them all religiously since. I was worried about some of the bad press and reviews, glad I tried the game anyway as I'm having a blast. The ESO universe is just incredible.

I have been concerned about the direction that MMO's have been going.. when compared against WOW.. things are getting very streamlined for controllers.. well, this ends up in my favor now as I have wrist issues (started from playing Wow).. part of me misses the level of play you have when you have 300+ commands configured on your programmable keyboard and mouse to play a game of that caliber. We're talking extreme sophistication in game play. The other part of me doesn't miss the level of play required to become proficient and competitive with such a game and setup. You pretty much had to play daily to keep up... or maybe I'm getting old. If I was to log into one of my old WOW toons it would probably take me a month just to get to 35% of where I used to be when the game came out. (would never even play with a UI up...just knew everything by heart)

Now I like the new "short attention span theater" approach to gaming.. I play with a 360 controller which has been a boon for my hands and wrist. If I was as hardcore as I used to be this would be a put off... but I just don't have the time to commit any more... so I like being able to jump in if I haven't logged in for a month and still be a viable player.

I had very, VERY high hopes for ESO when word of it first reached me. Of course, I was one of those people who was expecting Skyrim-The MMO. On that point, I'm a little disappointed.

However, I am very, VERY glad that I stuck with it. Buggy launch, some classes ( my beloved Nightblade ) being less uber than others, etc. But the pace of fixes and new content has more than made up for the rough start and I am happy to say that, as of now, I am fully and totally in love with this game.

Sure, it compromised some of the aspects that made the single player games so awesome to become an MMO, but I don't feel ESO has abandoned the heart of the franchise so much as made is broader ( while sacrificing some of the depth, natcherly ). But I feel that the design choices they made were the better ones given what they were trying to do with a single-player franchise.

What I'm trying to say, I guess, is that ESO is awesome and I'm loving it.
Brunhilda Icehammer - Nord Dragonknight, 'Smith & Enchantress 'What is 'ranged? I need to hit something!!'
Laehl Direthorn - Bosmer Nightblade, Purveyor of fine Clothes, Bows and Staves
Reeza gra-Zuni - Orc Templar 'War Shaman' and Apothecary
Noemi Snowpaw - Kajiit Dragon Knight - I laugh... or I'd have to kill you.
Kitera Dreamon - Breton of The Dominion: Because those Daggers don't appreciate a great Mage.
Lysara Shadowcroft - Dunmer Bloodmage: This will only hurt a lot.
