Default chat channel for a specific tab

If there's not a way that I'm missing.
Can we please get an option added to the chat tab configuration to set a default channel for that tab? IE: I create a chat tab specifically for guild chat, I'd like to have the ability to make it so when I switch to that tab it automatically chats to /g1 or whatever.
