We are currently investigating issues some players are having on the North American megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.
Regen rates & some other stats.
I was curious if it was possible to create a character that rebuilt stamina faster than it consumed in regards to sprinting. These are some things I discovered while doing some tests. Please feel free to add to this or correct my findings as I only relied on FTC numbers + WSplit.
These tests were run on a lvl 22 and a VR4.
VR4 ran both naked and full medium armor.
Lvl 22 ran both naked and full medium armor/capacitor passive.
RESOURCE REGEN
- The default (out of combat) magika/stamina regen is the same for both stats. At lvl 22 it was 52 every 2 seconds. VR4 was 111 every 2 seconds.
- The default regen rates stay the same regardless of max resource. This seems to show that the cost is not taken via % of total.
- Armor/Class/Vamp passives that increase regen rates apply both in AND out of combat.
- In the test I ran on lvl 22 it increased magika to 57 (an increase of 10% from the sorc capacitor passive) and stamina to 66 (28% more from medium armor Wind Walker passive).
- Magika and stamina attacks apply the first recovery 1.5 after button press followed by the regular 2 second intervals.
- After ~2.5 seconds (until the default stamina recovery bars disappears) from 100% resource cap the 1.5 first use time will re-apply.
- If the ability is used before the bar disappears then it continues on the 2 second timer.
SNEAK & DODGE
- Sneak prevents stamina regen during it's duration.
- Because sneak prevents regen Wind Walker is not important here.
- The cost for naked sneak at lvl 22 was 10/s. Unable to test Improved Sneak.
- The cost for naked sneak at VR4 was 22/s. Improved Sneak brings this to 12/s.
- The cost did not change depending on max pool.
- Dodge is a single time mobility event which means that the first stamina regen occurs 1 second after use, followed by the regular 2 second time rate. This differs from the 1.5 second delay on stamina attacks.
SPRINT VR4
- Sprint will recover stamina while in use if Wind Walker is used.
- VR4 default (naked) sprint cost was ~55 per tick (~110) a second with no apparent regen.
- Wind Walker sprint refunded (CURRENTLY CHECKING VALUE)
I found a pattern for sprint value, will pursue after dinner.
