Is it against the rules to bypass the locked gates and grab scrolls or not?

Devs, please clarify. For days now, AD has been bypassing our (DC) locked gates and grabbing our temple scrolls. Is this allowed? I mean, clearly it's allowed, since you refuse to do anything about it, but is it against the rules or not? Thanks.

Its not allowed, but like so many other bugs and exploits in PVP, they have so many bugs to fix at the moment, they don't have the dev's to work on this. For months set players have been reported and this bug been logged but no one has been banned for it and the bug is still there.

Hopefully one day they clear the back log and ban those players, but there are still tons of players who exploited bugs in PVP when this game first came out and they are still player.

yea ZOS pretty much just ignores these issues and hopes they go away. No one will be punished either of course.

I'm sorry my faction is being *** to your faction, what server is this on? Is it thornblade? I swear DC had their scrolls earlier today and we were kind of pushing for ep scrolls (the legit way) I'm guessing it's a particular group of people doing it.

well that sucks since that is the only server that sees any activity. I can't really avoid playing there if I want to play at all but I don't want to be part of something like that if it goes down.

Thornblade NA. Not quite sure why they named NA and EU servers the same, forcing us to add NA or EU to everything we say.

don't though. Turnabout is fair play yes, but going down that road just makes things worse. Then we end up with the sullon zek of the campaigns were anything goes and everyone cheats.

I don't want to see anyone doing this crap, we can't stop the people that do it, but doing it back just drags down the entire campaign.

They've commented on this stuff before. It is allowed if it's terrain exploiting. They have said terrain exploiting of any kind is allowed (they're nuts IMO but that's their official stance). Other methods which no longer work were considered exploiting and against the rules - like DK-chainpulls. You'd have to think it's terrain exploiting in this case.. sorry.. deliberate use of terrain bugs that are not considered exploits.

Don't look for logic. But that's the official line.

It's a "grey area" despite being a clear case of exploiting, they pretty much gave it the green light. There was a thread in the alliance war subforum that was about this, the green posts abandoned ship after having an open foot insert mouth moment.
