They need to change to PST-Pacific Standard Time, so us in New Zealand don't have to work it out.

But really, google and 2 seconds and you get the correct time worked out.

They could be smart and change the launcher to check your local clock and 'change' the message based on your local time, but I don't see that happening.......

    I lol'd.

GMT is probably the most user-friendly time they could use. But since ESO has a megaserver in Europe and the majority of European players live in CEST zone... You can see how using CEST makes perfect sense, can't you?

My time zone is PST. I'd prefer them to post times in GMT, because it's been the standard time zone in use for over a hundred years. I know what it is without having to stop and think about it, and I can easily convert GMT to my local time without having to look anything up.

GMT is the standard time zone indeed. As ZOS is a US team, I'm not surprised they don't use what the others do...
And don't write "be british friendly", it's not a question of being british. It's used all around the world. Even some US guys use it :)
(maybe the ones who got out of their country at least once)

PS : I'm french and my time is GMT+1

I think any application should look at the system time and convert all information into your system time. That being said, it's still ridiculously easy to convert the times yourself using a google search and a ton of websites that do these conversions for you.

I've got 4 clocks on my desk, a Darth Vader Lego for GMT-5, Buzz Lightyear for GMT+1, an Angry Birds for GMT+5 and SpongeBob LED for GMT+10. Covers my needs :cookie:

They have actually been using BST which is very British friendly considering it stands for British summer time. That said, we recently had a thread where a bunch of "mainland" Europeans complained about ZOS using BST rather than CEST. Now Zos seems to be using CEST. Either way, No matter which ZOS use there will be people complaining.
