Bug - can't change mundus stone

Huh. I thought this was likely some sort of bad joke, but I was desperate enough to try it. Went to the Thief Stone in Cyrodiil, took all of my character's clothes and jewellery and weapons off, even disabled the spells he normally has running all the time (Bound Aegis and Inner Light). Touched the stone, gained The Thief buff, and relogged while still naked. I'm glad you got the warrior mundus off! Do you mind let me know exactly how you did it? Did you change mundus while naked? and if so, how many changes did you do?
i did the mundus change naked w/o weapons and relogged naked. took two tries.
Then I remembered that the poster above had said "it took two tries", so I did it again. This time when I relogged, my character kept The Thief. Jubilance!
So I ran round Cyrodiil and did everything else I needed to do, passing through loading screens and Transitius Shrine warps. Everything was fine until I went back to Reaper's March. BAM! Back to The Warrior. Argh!
So I'm wondering if there was originally code to let you have a different Mundus buff while in Cyrodiil, or if one of the Cyrodiil buffs interacts with The Warrior in some way. Because it's really odd that my character was able to keep The Thief until he went back to his home Alliance area.Guildmaster of the UESP Guild on the North American PC/Mac Server 2350+ CP & also found on the European PC/Mac Server 1700+ CP

Lorgend✭✭i had another very similar issue and i send a bug report. in my case i cant take the warrior in cyrodil . xD i had the lord but i decided to boost my dmg a bit and when i took the warrior and went to cyrodil it just disappeared and i was left without a boon at all!! not even return to the lord. i try relog restart and all but nothing its just seems that cyrodil doesn't like the warrior xD. then i took the tower and it worked fine same does the lord. so i guess the bug is not the mundus stones in general but the warrior in particular. hope they fix it soon i really want to get that boost for my dmg xD0 -

No, we're actively working on a fix for that issue. Voicing constructive discontent about an outstanding bug is totally acceptable. It's possible to be critical or even negative, and still be respectful and constructive.

LizviciousSoul ShrivenConfirmed fix for this. It's not pretty if you wear valuable gear. I had this issue and even had a GM get online with me and remove the warrior etc nothing worked. They worked with me for 40mins and tried very hard but no dice. So I hit VR1 and stripped all gear off...yes everything...rings amulets weapons all things in a slot...Burn them!!!. Get your new mundus naked and stay naked do not ever put THAT gear on again...I then went around to various guild stores buying my VR1 set BUCK NAKED THE WHOLE TIME zoning to many different towns. The time it took to do this might be a factor as there was plenty of time for various server nodes to update with my new mundus, but waiting 5 minutes the other night with the GM did not work. When you are naked the effect does not return. By getting a whole new armor set while you still have your chosen mundus on you will never get The Warrior back. It is stuck on the gear which is why they are having such a hard time fixing it as they are looking at the effects on the person. It should not be on the gear but it is for sure. I can now travel relog and do all normal things with my new gear on and I still have The Atronach0
