In the past, I picked a racial motif for armor more on the colors that it had than the style or cut of the armor. To me color is more noticeable than style on the screen in game.
Now, I had made some Nord Leather for one of my characters and hated it because of the overall brown color of the armor. Last night I applied a dye and completely changed the color of the armor to a blue/gray/black scheme that looks pretty good to me.
I have to say the dye system has made me look at armors differently when crafting them. Now I look at the style knowing I can change the color.
Is anyone else rethinking their favorite motifs now since colors can be changed?
