Why the weapon colour changes?

I understand why you wanted to change the armour colours, it's cool we can dye those.
However the words and shields now all having a horrible blue/pink tint and not being able to dye them is just annoying, I know in another thread you said shields would be coming but until that time I am stuck with a pink/blue shield.

It used to be a nice plain dark metallic colour and looked like a shield, now it looks like a Frisbee.

As I stated in my previous thread, I do not want dyes for weapons and shields, however. It is up to ZOS to fix horrendous looking color schemes for them, keep them plain like the OP said (metallic / wood / whatever). Instead of ruining the looks with silly colors, it is just better add special glow effects and such for unique items.

They should make default armours silver/brown/white/grey like real neutral colours of natural armours. Not pink, blue, orange etc. -_-

I don't care for weapons as much, but shields are a must. I've just been playing around with the dyes and i ended up sticking with my blue as having black and gold armour with a big blue shield on my back just didn't look good at all. In fact most colours i wanted just don't fit the colour scheme of my shield.

I saw your thread before it was locked, where you were threatening to cancel your sub if they add shield dyes. You said that having people dye shields would ruin "the feel" or something along those lines. Well, i hate to break it to you, but the people who would dye a shield or weapon pink, are already working towards unlocking that colour so that they can dye their entire armour set pink. So either way you're going to lose that feeling.

Personally i don't care, i love that people can now dye their armour any colour they want. I just hope that ZOS add the option for shields soon. As a tank it's no fun having a big shield on your back that looks nothing like your armour set.

Maybe you don't care but I do. The question is: where do they draw the line? Are you going to allow people to make the most ridicules clown suits and ruin the fun for everyone else? The moment BioWare started putting every non canon color crystal for sale on the cash shop, the game stopped being star wars to me.

The only canon colors now are blue, green, and red. So even if they stuck to the pre-Disney canon color set, now they would be in violation of them anyway. So it doesn't matter.

I'd like the ability to dye weapons - armour is half the story, weapons are the other.
Got a black/gold colour scheme for my sorc with a blue/orange staff -.-

Yeah my vr12 fully upgraded bow has this odd teal color on the quiver, and the arrows are bright orange (its primal)...it's really ugly and clashes with my armor. I don't' want to spend a bunch on changing the one I'm using, it took a lot to craft it.
