Undeath; is it working? Not working?

Trying to get a clear sense of if it is working or not. I was told it was not working before patch. Was it only partially working before patch?
Pre-patch my survivability overall was way higher in non-vamp as an orc, but the other benefits would outweigh non-vamp if undeath has improved since the previous patch.

glavius✭✭✭✭✭It works. Not that great though. Starts at 1% mitigation at 49% life and goes up to 16% mitigation at 25% life and around 30% mitigation at 5% life. Linear scale All the way.0
