always go range, when he jumps on you roll dodge fast out of it, if you really wanna help yourself get a restro staff for second weapon, and use rapid regeneration for self heal, switch back to bow again and kill him.

The fight is pretty easy ranged or melee once you get the rhythm of 'hit, hit, move, hit, hit, move, run, hit, hit move'. Basically it's a battle of attrition, you chip away at his health while avoiding his AoEs and running away when he jumps.

I've done it on two Templars, a bow using NB and a Sorc and while I think the ranged characters had it a bit easier my Templars had no problem once I realised his mechanics are very simple and entirely repetitive.

As a melee you simply have to circle him to move out of his cone then you get to hit him a couple of times before having to move again, running away when he jumps and then rinse and repeat.

As ranged it's much the same except you have the luxury of being able to spend more time DPSing him and less time moving around, his mechanics are the same.

Only point where things may go a bit awry is when the Titans arrive, you need to get into a position where you can block their blue fireballs and simply stand and block until they die; the fireballs bounce back to the mob and damage them.

Using mostly heavy and light weapon attacks will mean that the fight is longer but you won't burn out your magicka/stamina DPSing at once. But other than that, what has already been mentioned

With this quest I can often have more trouble with the Harvester that you meet on the way, even with NPC help it can be a pain with the friends she brings.
