Despite the choices we will see.. I am just happy there will be choices. The more people that choose the all black and white.. just means I will have an even more unique character if that is the case.

And of course there will be those who will color each piece armor a different color, and those who will attempt to make VR1+ Imperial heavy armor look like Iron Man.

After seeing the devs work (super hero contest) I kinda wish I had never asked for dyes now. I assumed they would stick with more understated choices in ESO. Careful what you wish for I guess.

Title is misleading. There is nothing informative - which is the point of a PSA.







If the point of this thread is fashion tips, then I have some Daedric fashion to share. For best results for your crafted Daedric apparel, try to stick with the blackest and steelish color as your base. You may then use red trims for a Dagonite scheme.





However, I do not recommend the Dagonite scheme, as weapons are not dyeable. The current crafted Daedric melee weapons(blacksmith) all have a blue metallic base that gets darker as you improve it.(purple and gold) Thus, you may find it to clash with your red trims.


As an alternative, you may wish to explore a more Coldharbour theme. Which I imagine ZOS "intended" for crafted Daedric armor... but failed miserably.


They did fine with the Dremora though, an example of an adequate Daedric Coldharbour color scheme.





Same principle as the Dagonite scheme. You'll want the blackest base you can get with whatever black/dark shades you may have unlocked. You then combine with a cold, dark blue trimming. The advantage of this scheme, is that the color of crafted Daedric melee weaponry, will mesh nicely and cleanly.




These are my two recommendation for the best in Daedric fashion. Safe travels, and hail Molag Bal, he whom makes the weak, into powerful beings.
