Something Constructive 2

A week ago I made a thread called "something constructive" to give the developers feedback on content the users themselves want. So here goes this thread again.

"If you sit a madmen down and listen to him ramble sometimes he spouts the most brilliant insights"
-Sheogorath on the Folium Discognitum

Welcome fellow madmen(forum inhabitants), murderers(those guys that want the dog), and cleptomaniacs(you know who you are >_> )

Rules:

1. You cannot mention what someone else has mentioned here
2. Do not dwell on the negative (IE: glitch fixes, sometime to fix a problem, dogs. Those should be submitted in game)
3. You should only post one idea, this way you shoot out the idea you are most behind.

This will help us move forward, I cannot enforce it in anyway, but it helps to keep things constructive.

So to help start off the thread, I was thinking of an opposite counterpart to the synergy mechanic, "Sync".

Lets say two people have compatible ultimate and both of these ultimate are up. One person can use an ultimate's and the other person will get a action (x button like synergy) to use their ultimate also. These ultimate's would combine and gain a new effect.

For example: If both people had soul strike up, the first Soul Strike would hit normally, but the second Soul Strike would Cross with the other and Cause an AOE Nuke.

Some examples of synergy ultimate's would be:

War Horn + Dragonknight Standard (It would be a powerful buff banner for everyone in the area)

Soul Strike + Soul Strike, They both use it and the second one causes a strong nuke aoe. (Crossing the streams? can you say ghostbusters?)

Barrier + Rite of passage, A powerful healing Sync for everyone

Nova + Storm Atronoch, Volitile Storm Atronoch(Aedric Atronoch?) is there anything else to say?

WHY Would this be a benefit to the mechanics?

The possibilities for combinations are endless, and this adds another level of strategy to the game in groups.

As of right now it is, "When is my ultimate up? I want to spam it!"

    It would change it into,

Should I use my ultimate or should i wait for my partner?

It add another layer of strategy when working with your group, and a risk reward for saving your ultimate or using it.
On top of that it helps gravitate people to grouping for these sync's and better effects when playing together, just like synergy

I'd like to see the addition of zones in the future that are more like ES V. Quest givers aren't marked; you have to find them. Accomplishing a step in a quest that you didn't even know existed automatically starts you on that quest. One of my biggest objections to ESO (and I'm not at all alone in this, obviously) is that it's so linear. I think that was the single biggest disappointment of ES fans. ZOS can leave the linear stuff in place since it's already there, but surely they can add non-linear content, too.

Actually addon developers are way ahead of you on that one, on esoui lookup the addon undiscovered, you might like that one. It shows the undiscovered points of interest on the map.

it does not unlock them or anything, but it shows places you should probably look into exploring
