Primary Weapon set vs Secondary Weapon set state change?

Hello,

At level 15 you obviously get 2 weapon swap outs. You have your Primary Weapon swap and then you gain your secondary weapon swap.

Normally I have 42% Crit chance with both weapons equipped, however, when I move my weapons to my secondary weapon swap out, it drops my crit chance to 32% roughly. All Armor stats etc. are the same. The only difference is that the weapon is in my primary weapon swap out versus my secondary swap out.


I tested this with my bow as well. When I have it in my Primary Swap out, my crit chance is 53% when I switch it to my secondary swap out it drops to 44.7%


Is this a bug, or is it working as intended? Does your Primary Weapon swap out provide more stats opposed to the Secondary Swap out?

It shouldn't. If both weapons sets are truly identical, the stats should be identical as well.

Admittedly, i never paid much attention to that. I'll do some more testing tomorrow ...

3 reasons I could think of would be:- 1) precise trait on first weapon not on second. 2) active abilities that passively increase crit 3) a passive that increases crit on certain weapons ie twin blade and blunt daggers.

Did both Weapon Sets got the same Skills in the Bar? Don't forget the Passive Buffs from Skilllines.

Assuming all items are the same, is down to the passives given by the slotted abilities.

eg Inner Light is only on with the qbar that triggers it. if you want to have it when you change weapon, needs to be on both qbars. Same applies to eg Flawless Dawnbreaker Ultimate.

Total noob here... i didn't even think about the abilities on my bar, thanks guys- that makes a lot more sense now haha
