Swarming Red Wasps

Is there any effective defense (or offense) to deal with them. They always show up in
groups of ten or more.

AOE - Sap Essence using block w/ resto staff for NB. Grand healing.
Not sure about other classes.

They're significantly weaker than ordinary wasps of the same level.

Spiked Bone from undaunted skill line. Gives you lots of armor, and a shield that damages attackers, the wasps will kill themselves as they hit you.

Yeah, they're typically pretty weak, just about any AOE will drop them before they do too much damage.

Volcanic Rune(morph of fire rune) from the mage,s skill line, keep dropping that and nuke the stragglers with your weapon.

On my Sorc I find a frost staff and destructive touch doing deep freeze damage
works quite well.

If I don't have any decent AoE, then I avoid the buggers. Lucky there are not too many of them. I think they are only in that one area, as I have not seen them in a while.

I wish there was a way to keep a pet wasp alive. When I see a queen I always go out of my way to get my own little pet wasp, and then I'm always sad when it dies a short time later (either fighting for me, or just after a certain amount of time).
