Vampire Dye question

So this question has been bothering my guild for a quite a while.

Lets say I am a level 10 vampire, but I removed my vampire buff from my character.
Does my character still unlock the black vampire dye even though she/he is not a vampire anymore? Or does my character have to be vampire next patch to unlock the dye.

    Dyes are linked to achievements, so provided you don't lost the achievement, I'd assumed you don't lose the dye colour.
    Allow cross-platform transfers and merges

    achievement is new to text patch. It does not exist yet sorry i did not mention

    Yes you will keep it, once you unlock the achievement you won't loose it again.
