Not really acceptable anymore ZOS

I've yet to log on and play without a PVP rollback and drop out for the entire map, every player rolled back and kicked out of the game.

It's not like it's just me, entire maps kicked to log on screens and roll backs, map wide moaning about the unplayable lag.

It's really getting past the point of acceptable. I'm venting but you need to know, I'm clearly not the only one getting peeved by this and the consolidation of PVP maps doesn't in anyway feel like this issue is going away.

The game just literally crashed for an entire map, and gave us our scroll back, I can't image how peeved the Pact players are right now on EU AB.

I can only assume that you're exclusively talking about PvP, because I haven't even encountered a crash in the PvE zones since launch.

That said, I haven't heard of the type of widespread problems you're talking about in quite some time. The rollbacks, intense FPS issues and constant lag have (as far as I know) been fixed for the vast majority of players.

I have, there have been a few threads saying every new update makes it worse for them. I don't know the specifics, but it does appear that some systems don't like the updates/changes being made.

I personally haven't had this problem, but I have noticed the threads.

How, and I'm sure this will be a good one I can't wait, is it my PC when an ENTIRE map crashes and suffers a roll back at least once every two days (or more) with literally countless players all ending up back at start camp?

Maybe my PC is the ZOS server running these shards?

Guys... Guys...

The ENTIRE map forces the players out. The game rolls everyone back to a prior point (in this case the enemy just lost the scroll they took from us and we got it back) and EVERYone ends up back at the start camp.

How is it someones PC? Honest question from someone with a masters degree in computer science.

Which campaign is this still happening on? I haven't heard about rollbacks for weeks.

I may not have much luck with the RNG but It seems I'm lucky with other aspects of the game. Haven't had issues with PvP or PvE so apart from adding my 2 cents worth, I don't really have much to add.

I have only experienced occasional lag in PvP zones and none in PvE so if this happening often try re-installing the game or make sure your computer isn't getting excessive memory loss or your processor is dying etc.

IIRC, there's been some threads about it happening on Wabba.

I will say that the lag/fps drop on DB last night sucked. There were a few points I thought I might have dropped, or was going to get kicked, because nothing was moving.

It must just be all of our PCs then and we're all imagining our scroll jumping back into our keep. Makes total sense, it's all our own fault.

Guys, I get that maybe some people are not seeing the issue, that's fine, but it's clearly not my PC and it's clearly no one else's PC. Score change, scrolls change location and if not everyone then a huge amount of people end up back at the start spawn.

This is on going.

Honestly, not sure if I should laugh or cry that the internet thinks this is the fault of users PCs. I'm going to go with laugh else it will depress me for the rest of the day.

Auriel's Bow here, but I've also seen it on Chrysamere in the past. For Auriel's Bow it's pretty much nightly or at least bi nightly.

I didn't read anywhere where anyone said they posted a youtube video of this happening or of it happening during a livestream. People seem a bit confused about what exactly is going on so I figure a recording of the event would help to show exactly what is going on.

Im also in AB EU, the server lag and the rollbacks last night were unbearable.. (I call it prime time lag)
My worst fear is that even when the server migrates in Germany we 'll still have those kind of problems... /sigh

But we 'll see

Ahhh... I think there was 1 or 2 rollbacks on Chrysamere (NA) that I was on for. But this was still within around a month or so of release. Was never the major pop on Chrys to cause some of the issues the others have.

One of the threads I was talking about is this one for Wabba. Large pop, Zerg, spam AoE ... crash. That was close to what I was seeing on DB last night as well. With AoE coming from every corner during keep battles my fps dropped to ~9-12; and the latency was horrid. Didn't have the server roll back though, I only thought it was going to happen a couple times.

It does make one wonder if Cyrodiil will ever be truly fixed. In it's current state I'm happy to just make it through a session with one or two glitches/disconnects.

Wabba is the hot campaign now and it does happen. Dc + rollback. If you are unlucky it might happen to you 3 times in under an hour or two. Like two- three days ago. If you do not know your *** dont blame it on other peoples computer. You've never seen a hundred people cluster fishing at the wayshrine afted a crash until u have experienced the rollback yourself.

With all the issues, it would be nice to see some organised fair-play in game.

Disregard my previous comment because when I logged in got on the PvP campaign Auriels Bow the lag crashed my game 4 times and I was getting about 10 fps. I usually get around 200+ fps and have no lag. So from what I am seeing in the chat and forums is that the lag depends on the campaign because when I played in friends on wabbajack I got no lag and the same in PvE.

Shadows. Its definitely the shadows settings. Or maybe your anti-virus is seeing the lack of scrolls in your home keeps as a threat and rolling the server back. But I'm gonna say shadows.
