Yeah, at the first glance i knew this was some sort of hoax and/or suicide mission as you said, you simply can't go to mars being a random peasant, the FAQ isn't helpful either, they don't want to "contaminate the planet", even though they NEED to produce CO2 in order to heat up Mars and terraform it.

✭✭✭✭Why would anyone want to go to Mars - the climate sucks, and the cellphone/internet provision is non existent. I've also heard the atmosphere is just terrible.
