Maintenance for the week of December 8:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – December 10, 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
voices in this game have big issues, i listen all voices very carefull and in the end after i make the char there is always a damn scream or something not fitted for the voice, imagine you hear a manly voice 80% of time and then you hear some nasty sounds that are like kid voice, wth 80% of screams are manly and 20% sound like smeagol... esp fpr dark elf- you pick one that sounds decent and in game you hear another few screams that make your decision bad.
I'd like the ability to mute selected NPC's and being able to mute your own PC should be a part of that.
If they wanted to go a step up, they could even let you put in your own voice snippets (or noises). They'd be saved on your computer and you are the only one who could hear them. (Same with bard songs).
That would make it interesting.
(If you didn't want to hear anything, just leave the 'put in your own noises' stuff blank.)
Totally agree. My VR Heavy Armor Nord warrior screams in agony like his greaves crumpled up his throat everytime he jumps off a tiny rock... He shames me!

I don't mind screaming when you get shot or attacked, but I jump off of things all the time, and you'd think I'd be used to it. I'd like it if fall damage only caused a scream if it put you in critical condition, but as it is, my characters scream bloody murder with every little scraped knee.
People choosing to play the game differently to you are not wrong, bad, stupid or playing too much, or too little. They are just playing it differently to you, they don't need you to "correct" them. No one is playing the game wrong unless they are cheating or hurting others.
