Grouping Tools

Just started playing ESO a few days ago, but does grouping tools even work? Seems you can literally sit in it for hours without a group forming. It feels more like a single player game than a mmo. Doesn't really give you much to look forward to.

It does work but it is not popular, so can be exceedingly slow, I find it easier to post in zone chat, some one will always help. Also keep your eye on chat for Guilds that are recruiting, being in one makes grouping sooooo much easier.

The game needs a new kind of grouping tool that allows for more insight to the individuals who are in the queue looking for a group...maybe something like a interactive grouping lobby of some sort?
There is need for more insight and control, at the moment you can't tell if it's even working or not.
Usually it just resets if someone quits the group in search mode.
It gets quite frustrating after a few times of that happening.

if you using the grouping tool for world grouping, you will never find any, nobody uses that feature.

for low level group dungeons like spindel/grotto/banished cells and more, you can find groups as long as you do it in prime time for playing and not at 3 am in the morning

High level group dungeons, here again it starts to get hard to find anything with grouping tools, due to many uses their guildies and friends that they have bounded with on their way through Tamirel

Zone Chat is how you find people to Group with. Put out a LFG or Looking for Group for XXX Dungeon. It sometimes helps to put your character level and class, but I don't know if that is necessary in the zone chat. Then, wait about 5 to 10 minutes for people to show up. When they do, Whisper or Invite them to Group as these people never seem to ask when they show up.

U can join up to 5 guilds , each guild can have up to 500 members. Nobody uses the feature because of this.
This is a very social driven game , i suggest u get on board or ... u gonna have a bad time!:)

In my experience grouping tools in general don't get used often unless there is a reward for using them. Once you offer a daily reward or something with a well defined objective people start using them.

Wait to the new undaunted daily dungeon quest. Then the LFG group will be used, but as 90% of people role DPS, finding a tank and a healer will be..... interesting as the grouping tool will only group 1 tank, 1 healer and 2 dps.

But I guess, its play at you want, and not many want to be the tank
