Spellcrafting, classes and balance.

I look very much forward to spellcrafting in the game, but thinking about it I began seeing some issues I believe needs to be resolved. I believe that spellcrafting is a good thing and will bring ESO closer to a real TES game, but we can't ignore the classes and their capabilites as spellcasters. Spellcrafting will even the field but not every class has access to some passives and abilites that makes certain classes much more desirable for a mage.

Let's look at each class starting with Dragonknight, this class has access to World in Flame which makes any AoE fire spell do more damage like Fire Rune and will naturally be more adept at crafted AoE Fire spells. Battle Roar to regain resources everytime they use an ultimate ability.

Templar, this class gets 4% cost reduction and Restoring Focus.

Nightblade has access to Siphoning strikes which keeps them from running out of resources during a fight and 8% more magicka when a siphoning ability is slotted.

Sorcerer, the natural spellcaster, has access to Dark Exchange, 5% cost reduction and 10% magicka regen, in addition we can include Restoring Twilight which grants an extra 10% magicka regen and Empowered Ward which increase pet damage by 30%, but we do not yet know if Empowered Ward will work on crafted Flame atronach or limited to just their current pets.

In a group situation, everybody can use Equilibrium and the abovementioned issues with each class is lessened.

Other issues, spells that overlap other class themes and redundancies.

Starting with Sorcerer, summoning will be available to all, we've already seen the Flame Atronach, but what of Frost and Storm Atronach, and what will set the sorcerer Storm Atronach apart when everyone can make a Flame Atronach Ultimate. Lightning bolt was also shown, what happens when this spell is made into an ultimate and how is it different than Overload.

Templars and the Restoration school, now everyone can craft a direct heal but we do not yet know what passives we will see in the Restoration school and how they are different from Restoring Light.

Dragonknights stands to gain the most compared to their current toolset, direct heal, pets and ranged nukes like fireballs.

Nightblades are unique in that they have shadow magic no one else has and spellcrafting will benefit them as much as DK's. What type of spells apart from Muffle we get from Illusion remains to be seen, if there is some kind of Invisibility or Chameleon effect, what of Shadow Cloak?

Now you might think it's unfair that we may have DK's with invisibility running around, but Templars and Sorcerers could feel the same about Restoration and Conjuration being available to all.

I doubt we will get more info soon, and this might seem like fear mongering but they decided to put classes in the game, a mistake in my opinion, and now they have to make sure they are relevant. No one who rolled Templar wants to feel like second class citizens and I'd like to see ZoS adress their resource issues before spellcrafting goes live. With what little I know currently, I'd roll A NB or DK looking forward to spellcrafting.

    They gave us a glimpse of some skills (maybe even below 5% of the one's you can craft).

    Ugh.....not a rant really, but close. You don't know anything about the Spellcrafting system except for the very little you heard from Quakecon. I would wait before you complain this thoroughly.
    What you are asking here is for the community to start complaining about mechanics they don't even know about. You want insightful conversation with the most minimal information.
    Agreed with @Wizzo91 Speculations over speculations...and to way to soon I might add.
