Improvements to armor and weapon crafting/improvement.

At the moment, there's little point in using your resources, especially your tannins and such to craft and improve your armour and weapons. You should be able to use less of the same tier or a higher tier material to increase the level and strength of the armour/weapon. So, instead of having to make a whole new iron sword for level 10, because your level 8 sword is underpowered, you could just take it to an anvil, and add an extra iron ingot or 2 to improve it to level 10. This would mean if you had used your honing stones and such to improve it to fine, or superior level, you wouldn't be wasting them by out-levelling the equipment. At the moment, the way I see it, there's little point in using your improving items on lower level gear, because it becomes useless after a couple of hours of gameplay, or less. Comment what you think of this below, and feel free to leave criticism or compliments.

I agree it's pointless, I rarely make blue weapons pre-VR and never have felt the need to make blue armour either.

I like the idea of some kind of weapon improvement system, kind of a 'reforge' which makes an item better than before but at the same quality.

It won't happen, crafters will complain.

Once you do a lot of crafting you will have green/blue upgrade mats comming out of your ears. I craft for 4 people leveling and have over 400 of each kind of green upgrade and 200 of blue upgrade. All the people I have crafted blues for (craft upgrade to green then upgrade to blue) up to VR1 (every 5 levels or so). To me system seems fine. Greens very easy, quite common to craft. Blues a little rarer but not to bad. Purples you should wait till in high VR or you wasting them. Gold wait till max VR.
