Shada's Tear

Is fun!

I just spent almost 4 hours (around 3 at Shada alone) in this dungeon with one of my friends, one of her friends and a random tank. It took us around 3 hours, it took me around 50 potions, 30+ soulgems (half was given to me by group members), around 10k gold of repair but we finally wiped the floor with Shada!

No one raged, no one quit and this is my general experience not just with friends. This dungeon was fun, I constantly had to pay attention, I am a healer but I was also dealing with adds, ccing when I could, avoided all those splash aoes and water when needed as well as the smoke and by the end me and one of the members were already at 0 gems but we managed to beat her!

Do NOT nerf this and please, more content like this. This was my first Craglorn dungeon, I am still in AD zones (I am VR 10), I was asked if I would hop in and did not regret it.

I already knew but this made me sure that ZOS knows how to do nice dungeons, I haven't tried any trials yet, I jut hope they will make a bit longer ones too after seeing those 20 minutes completions.

Moral of the story: Never give up, even if the enemy has been wiping the floor with you for over three hours now!

And to make this a discussion: Has any of you have similar experience in either this or any other (Veteran) dungeons? My other one was Volenfell like 2.5 months ago in which the end bosses took like an hour.

PS: I would love a title for this dungeon!

i love shada's tear and veteran Crypt of heart. they are difficult.
for shada, i ran with random people at the first day it launch. we had to figure out how to kill all boss. mostly wiped at spider boss before shada. but we killed shada

now devs make shada fight harder. i think u may love it. very chalange.

and i confirm u will love veteran Crypt of heart.

Oh nice, Vet CoH is the only vet dungeon not finished for me, never even tried. I mostly focus on questing and only go to dungeons occasionally when asked or to take a break from questing.

Shada's tear was the first thing i did in Craglorn, I tanked it at Vet 8, 15k repair and about 3-4 hours before we finished it. Honestly shada's tear is what kept me playing this game, Craglorn was going to be the make or break for ESO for me. After seeing all the things in Quakecon I'm very glad I chose to stay and support the development of ESO :#

Only issues I have with completeing challenges like this now is the poopy rewards, ZoS is aware of this (thank god) and will make everything more worth it and dungeons repeatable.

Yep, I read that it is daily, might do it again sometimes but only when I have a few hours to spare :D

@cf398ub17_ESO Well, I got somewhat lucky, as I mentioned, a friend of mine invited me and her friend also joined so we had a random tank but she was also nice, it was already the 7th attempt for her and she finally got it.

I just did part of it last night for the first time. Yeah, was not expecting the difficulty that ensued. Most of the caves are pretty easy sans a couple. This was the first time in awhile where I've been wipped multiple times on the same boss.

We only finished 1 wing in about an hour (I ran out of playtime), but definitly excited to try the east wing tonight. The Blacksmith boss took a few tries to finally figure out how to beat him. It was nice to actually see mechanics and not just tank and spank.

I had this much fun in the VR Banished Cells, that 3'rd to last boss made my previous 4 groups quit, being a NB healer it was also very tough on me, popping in siphon attacks whenever I could, yet not taking my eyes off the health bars. With the 5'th group, it took 7 tries and all of them laughing at how I could go through a section of the wall in the dungeon, but we did it. Most of the time we were just screwing around. Once someone caught me praying in a daedric circle >:) . Yea but I have not had that much fun ever in any other group dungeon.

yea those dungeons are rough. A friend and I shadowy disguised our way through all of them to get all the skyshards.

Question: do those dungeons net a skillpoint from killing one of the bosses and is that info available anywhere?
Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.

This is a group dungeon without a skyshard and not a public one with a shard :D

Yes, a certain boss in public dungeons gives a skill point but not sure if it is written which one, maybe from the complete the dungeon achievement? I mean to kill a certain boss, probably that one but not sure.

its a great dungeon unfortunately the rewards and drops are not great. its horribly itemized personaly id like to see it's diffculty increased and reitemized with better unique gear. this game was not ready for the consumer, its very very evident in endgame in all aspects.

Well, I did get 2 purple items that were better than my previous ones so it was okay and I also got a bunch of XP.

Also, ZOS said they are working on modifications so that revisiting a dungeon will be worthwhile. We'll see.

Technically, all of the dungeons and caves are 4-mans. This one just happens to be a pretty large dungeon/quest chain and is quite difficult.
