    I support the jewellery option, the dye weapon option (sans Blades, coloured blades are just stupid IMO) and the ability to see a larger representation of the crafted gear.

    I am ambivalent on the Siege Gear

    The purpose of cloaks, historically, is to a) keep you warmer when it is cold, and b) keep rain, snow and dust off of the clothing worn beneath it. It was a protective adjunct to your clothing not a fashion statement (or at least "not just"). It can't serve that purpose in the game so it just becomes another thing to hang enchantments off .... Hey! We need Cloaks! LOL

    Id like further especialization that forces player to choose one path that allows creating unique stuff

    Blacksmith --> Weaponsmith / Armorsmith

    Clothing --> Tailoring / Leatherworking

    Alchemy --> Medical expert / Poison expert

    Provisioner --> Cook / Brewer

    Woodworking --> bow&shields / sticks

    Enchanting --> ? / ?

    I think it would open a nice trading market.

    The ability to create and wear a cloak or cape (even better if it has stats and can be crafted like set items) is a super idea! So far I don't feel players have had enough opportunities to express their "fashion sense", which is a huge part of letting your caracter stand out and feel unique in an MMO.

    Crafting siege weapons is a great idea, but I'm not sure it will attract too much attention, because players stick their skill points on more valuable spots, and if you have the traditional siege weapons, you may as well stick around and wait the siege out. After all, we're here to fight ava, not ninjacapture keeps in pve. (IMHO)

    It would be great to preview your weapon or armor before you craft it. I have been very dissapointed with the looks of my crafted items, after waiting to get the 8 trait unlocks for sets and boosting my gear to legendary I don't even like what it looks like... :( . Again, very cosmetic comment, but whatever we're all superficial to a certain degree.

    Dying weapons, meh. I'd need to see it to believe it.

    Jewelry crafting is interesting, I'm sure if it's well thought out, it can add 1 more level of complexits and depth to the caracter customisation system.

    Crafting jewelry: I'm sure its coming, just hope it is not exactly like BS, WW, clothing. To dye jewelry, we would first need then to have a visual effect on the character ;)

    Dye weapons: would be nice but not super important to me.

    Create Cloaks: while cloaks have a great visual effect, I consider them non-canon. None of the previous TES had them, and it is not due to physical limitations, since they've been modded in every time. It is therefore safe to assume that this is design choice and I respect that. Anyway, combat in a cloak would be silly.

    Make Siege: might be a balance issue..

    Trying on Armor: I picked this choice because it will benefit everyone and has least chance of breaking anything.

    I also agree with some sort of morph system for crafting. As it stands in some time every serious crafter will offer exactly the same thing, because everyone will be maxed, with all traits researched. It would be nice if upon reaching 50 you could open a "specialty". It being one or two items, which you could craft better than anyone without the specialty. Alternatively, a specialist could craft special sets in those items only.

    I chose all of the above because I'm greedy like that. In all serious I would love to see specialization in all the crafting lines.

    This could be done by creating a crafter's guild ala fighter or mages guilds, but one that sends you across the world to gather rare ingredients or unique motifs/set bonuses. When you join you can choose a specialization that will be leveled over the course of the quest line. In addition to the quest line, provide a daily quest that nets you unique "customization" items like modified sets, special weapons crafting (think Chillrend, or some of the other named weapons of lore) This would also be the route to acquire the next tier of armor motifs rather than buying or looting them, this way those who devote their time to a craft are rewarded by being able to craft something that is special. Maybe combining parts of the armor models or removing segments (think one pauldron with one shoulder bare but retaining the same armor stats) could be another specialization.

    For Provisioners, you could allow them to learn some special recipes.

    Alchemy could provide special boons on top of base effects.

    Woodworkers could craft furniture, those consumable chests that we receive rewards in, Siege weaponry.

    Clothiers could create tapestries, and other textiles.

    Some of these would only be worthwhile in conjunction with new features like housing, but this is a game where they want us to inhabit our characters, so let us take up a profession.

    I would also like to be able to name weapons, even if it was placed behind a skill point to deter some of the obvious complications one can expect when allowing free will in an online space.

    Whatever may be done with specializing, I would say that they should be divided into Primary and Secondary categories and you can only learn one of each on a character (respeccing would allow you to change paths, but only one would be usable at a time with a cooldown respec timer). Increased specialization allows means our bank space would need to be potentially revamped (I'm thinking a smaller shared bank to transfer items with each character getting their own independent banks in order to accommodate additional crafting mats. Players should be encouraged to undertake new skills on their various characters not create one or two crafters and then go "phew! glad that's done now I can just make characters for fighting!" Such specialization would also be a boon to trade and craft guilds as they would be an immensely useful way to bring together all of the specializations in one place.

    Paul Sage has said he is always looking at things to improve the roleplay experience, adding in aspects for divergent gameplay. Adding a second tier of crafting would strengthen the economy, provide roleplayers another "thing" to do, and would ultimately benefit all players as the wealth of items they would have available to them would be immense.

    "It is a time of strife and unrest. Armies of revenants and dark spirits manifest in every corner of Tamriel. Winters grow colder and crops fail. Mystics are plagued by nightmares and portents of doom."

    There is a thread in General Discussion asking that when we max out Blacksmithing/Clothing/Woodcrafting we can choose the cosmetic look of gear. Basically we craft the cuirass/whatever the same as normal, but one of the options is what level look we want, for example you might have a Breton voidsteel helmet that has the look of the ebony helmet.

    I definitely want to see a preview of what i am creating. Cosmetic slots (hauberk, skirt/kilt, capes) where clothing items go over your normal gear.
    I want to create jewelry that uses a shape for base (amulets: star, circle, square, diamond; rings: claw ring, serpentine, etc.), a metal for the colour and gems for the shinies. All of these things could have an effect on the end product, just like Enchanting.

    A couple of variations per material would be great as well, such as breton hood without the mask, or with extra decorations, embroidery or patterns on the cloth itself.

    Where is the "some of the above, and then some" option? Dying jewelry could be cool, but only if you could see your jewelry too. And I'd also love to see a full representation of gear before it's made, as well as cloaks, but I don't really have an interest in crafting siege weapons or dying weapons... That would just look bad.

    Yeah, it's kind of stupid that I can only either buy a repair kit to fix something or pay a vendor to fix it when I'm the one that made it. There's no reason why we can't just put like one or two mats into fixing it again.

    Anywho.....I'd like crafting my own jewelry, dyeing my weapons and being able to see what it's gonna look like (not just that little picture in the crafting area!) before I make it. I've wasted mats trying to decide whether I wanted one or the other before.

    None of those "make" options should be blacksmithing or tailoring (except cloaks/capes, which I don't want) so that leaves all of them out.

    I'd be inclined to argue you should be able to preview *any* item/item combination though, not just stuff you're getting ready to craft.

    That said, what I'd probably like most is the ability to "downcraft". i.e. craft higher level gear with a lower level appearance.

    Everything except cloaks is good.

    Seeing how poorly even the long hair is handled, cloak would be just a HUGE and AWKWARD clipping issue. It's bad enough that the only cool female hair clips through almost everything you can wear on your back..

    Basically:
    - crafting preview - best with all qualities shown, although this would become redundant if weapons would be dyable

    - weapon dyes - seeing people wearing all colors having BLUE shields/weapons and whatever color the quivers are (which is each time something else and never what you have unlocked.. is just ridiculous and feels like poking yourself in the eye with a wire..

    - faster enchanting leveling - you CANNOT level it fast enough to be usable for you. You can have other crafts already able to craft items 10+ levels above, but with glyphs,... well, let's say it takes forever to gain a level by deconstructing found glyphs

    - jewelcrafting

    - alchemy overhaul - currently you ONLY need to ever level up alchemy for HP/magicka/stamina potions. Utility potions (stealth, CC immunity, speed, etc) are the same for all levels, and too short to even consider using

    - shorter research times (= more skill points to lowering research times). Waiting over 23 days for 8th trait is ridiculous, that's almost whole mothly subscription worth of time. Can't research different items on different chars (to save time) unless you're rich enough to buy all the motifs for another character..

    - fix the hirelings! seriously, after these 4 months (or so), I have around 80 yellow clothing tempers (because they arrive often and when they arrive, it's mostly 2 pieces), but just about 10 yellow WW or BS tempers (which almost never arrive and I NEVER get more than 1 in mail)

    I agree with the Jewelry concept and think that possibly could be an enchanters job or I suppose a blacksmiths. It would be nice for enchanters to have more than simple glyphs though so their craft is worth more than it currently is. Many items found can't even have the glyph replaced if its any good and crafting rings, amulets etc would adjust that some. I also think we need to be able to dye shields because currently they stand out like a sore thumb. I don't want pink swords everywhere but maybe dying the grip (leather or cloth etc) on some weapons would be ok. Capes, *shrugs* I suppose for a vanity item but there would need to be cloak/cape options. I think people would like cloaks that go over their gear more than capes. It would certainly make people look more assassin like in situations if the cloaks had hoods independent from helms.
