Group quests

How about group quests having no NPC interaction from the starting point through to the last step? I have bad experiences related to this problem, because I like dialogs and lore, but I don't want to hold my group asking to wait for me to read/listen to the dialogs.. Those can be sometimes quite lengthy and sometimes there might be quests where you need to get the answers right etc and that is even more frustrating at times (i.e. if someone gets it wrong). I don't know for sure, but it could be refreshing experience as well, kind of like a total break from normal type of questing with focus on combat and group tactics. I'm for it.
