Don't mind me,,,I am not a bot

Sometimes, I just get tired of doing quest after quest after quest.

My main is a DW Nightblade who is absolutely awesome at shredding enemies up to 3 levels higher as many as three at a time....

Sometimes, I just prefer some mindless hack and slash for a while, I find it relaxing. When I find a dungeon that suits my level with good spawns of humanoids, I might spend a few hours just running the dungeon over and over slaying everything in my path until my inventory is full,,, then I sell, repair and repeat.

So don't always assume because you see someone in a dungeon for a few hours that they are bots..... sometimes some of us just need a little mindless distraction like steamrolling through a dungeon for a while.

So don't mind me, I am just collecting a little loot to sell and having fun...in my own way.

I know the feeling, I do the same with public dungeons, a great way to find traits/glyphs/gear and just having relaxing fun ripping it all apart :)

I actually haven't seen any bots in a long long time, after they made the sweet changes like 10m boss spawn timer, max 3 deletes of chars for a time period, and others :)

If im in a lowbie dungeon to kill mobs for achievements, I always stop if someone comes inside, and ask them if they need them for questing, so I dont spoil there fun and questing, once they done, ill continue

Good on you, do what you want when you want.
It's my favourite thing to do as well.

I do the same thing. In fact, the other night I was in the public dungeon in Malobal Tor (sp?) and hooked up with a VR1 who was chasing an achievement. I told the person to lead on as I was farming loot. We went through that dungeon about 4 times until she got her achievement. I filled up about 80 slots with loot to research and deconstruct. Lucky I had purged the inventory of that character before I went in there.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You're awesome to do that. Not long ago I had to do the opposite. I was in a level 35 dungeon someplace and a couple of VR12 kids overtook me and proceeded to run around face rolling everything. So I stopped and waited until they left, and then continued. Sure, they weren't doing anything wrong, but I actually wanted to, you know, do the dungeon... ;-0

I think this is great so long as the option is there and that public dungeons can be done solo, both 1-50 and Veteran.

Let people assume what they want. Do what you enjoy doing :)

Being mistaken as a bot is fun, what's not fun is being mistaken as a griefer when you're trying to help out :( This lady reported me for standing in the vamp spawn looking for someone to bite.
People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's culture. And the Elves.

To be fair if it was VR12 people they would not be getting loot.

Might have been filling in achievements they missed though, been doing a bit of that lately but I try not to mess things up for level appropriate players... Like if there is a boss I don't need I won't join in the fight unless they are near to dying etc.

Bots are easy to spot because they follow the same pattern over and over. Even with some RNG in the bot behavior.
It is vastly different than a human running the same dungeon over and over.

I've done resource/loot runs where i do a circle around an area hitting the same chests and nodes for a while.

One would hope that a GM knows the difference ...

If I go into a low level dungeon because I missed an achievement, or if I am trying to farm XP somewhere (in a mob-heavy quest area where I can still earn XP), I try my hardest not to interfere with anyone questing or trying to do the dungeon at the appropriate level.

If anyone else comes running through that is the right level for the dungeon, I will just help out by switching to resto staff and healing if needed. If I've gone back to previous zones to just get achievements on a dungeon I missed first time through, fair enough, loads of people want to get the achievements - but if I need to get a hit on a boss a lot of levels lower than me I try to do it when there is no-one else around, rather than mess up anyone else's fun by 1-shotting things and wrecking the dungeon for other people.

Edit: My gripe for the day = players who kite stuff out of your ultimate's aoe - aka "thanks I just wasted my ultimate, you died, and the mob reset because you backpedalled too far".
