OVERVIEW

The Elder Scrolls Online v1.2.6 is an incremental patch that addresses some additional issues with gameplay, quests, and more. This is one of our last updates before we release Update 3.


FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS

Alliance War
General •Fixed an issue where your game could crash during combat while in Cyrodiil.
•Fixed an issue so Cyrodiil weaponsmith merchants will now carry the appropriate mix of blue and purple weapons.
•Fixed an issue where you were able to capture any keep to receive credit for the quest Capture Blue Road Keep. You can now only capture Blue Road Keep to receive proper credit.

Combat & Gameplay
General •Fixed an issue where dead beetle effects would occasionally cause performance issues when viewed.
•Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause low FPS after you leave combat.

Sorcerer •Summoning •Volatile Familiar: Reduced the damage of this ability to 12% maximum magicka from 20% maximum magicka. This is a temporary solution until we completely resolve the issue where the Familiar is exploding twice.


Alliance War •Assault •Caltrops: Fixed multiple issues where using this ability would reduce your game’s performance.


World •Vampire •Clouding Swarm: Fixed an issue where you could get up to a 500% speed buff while wearing the Night’s Silence armor set.



Dungeons & Group Content
General •If you’re above Veteran Rank 10, you can now use the Looking For Group Tool to queue for all Tier 1 Veteran Dungeons: Spindleclutch, Banished Cells, and Fungal Grotto.


Exploration & Itemization
General •Fixed an issue that was causing the entire interior of a building in Daggerfall to offer gauntlets to loot, rather than just targeting the actual gauntlets.
•Fixed an issue where you were not getting the proper achievement credit when defeating the Transmuted Hive Lord for the achievement Darkshade Caverns Vanquisher.

Enchantments •Fixed an issue where the Berserker enchantment was not scaling properly with either glyph level or quality.

Item Traits •Sanctuary: This buff will no longer appear to stack on your character sheet when you teleport or log out.

Quests
Alik’r Desert •Master of Leki’s Blade: You will now be able to start and complete Raifa’s student duel challenge.

Betnikh •Carzog’s Demise: You will now be able to speak with Neramo and Azlakha.

Craglorn •The Shattered and the Lost: Fixed an issue where the quest would not progress properly after using Seeker’s Sight.

Main Quest •Halls of Torment: Fixed an issue where Lyris would not use the portal associated with this quest.
•The Weight of Three Crowns: The alliance leaders will now arrive when you approach the meeting place in Stirk.

Reaper’s March •A Traitor’s Luck: Fixed an issue where Cariel would not appear when you read the note.
•Hadran’s Fall: Tand will now leave and update the quest after you interact with the cage associated with this quest.
•Baan Dar’s Boast: Fixed an issue where you could not poison the Stranglers and collect the Poisoned Dark Strangler Stems.
•The Den of Lorkhaj: Fixed an issue where the Lunar Champion (Shazah or Khali) would not continue the ritual after defeating Javad Tharn and the Dark Mane.

Shadowfen •A Final Release: You will now be able to find Najeepa’s remains.
•The Bargain’s End: You can now interact with the fire and ice braziers in the final room.

Stonefalls •Protecting the Hall: Fixed an issue that was causing the quest progress to loop.

Stormhaven •You will no longer get kicked to a loading screen in the Windridge Caves.


UI
General •Added a notification to the login screen that tells you where to go to subscribe to the game.

    Wow so many awesome fixes. This is great thanks zenimax don't work to hard still want you guys to enjoy your life before polishing a game you already cashed in on.

    I read this: "If you’re above Veteran Rank 10, you can now use the Looking For Group Tool to queue for all Tier 1 Veteran Dungeons: Spindleclutch, Banished Cells, and Fungal Grotto." and wondered why they don't account for this in the lower level dungeons.

    For example, I leveled up in EP, and when I completed all the content up to and in The Rift (quests/dungeons/dolmens/world bosses) I was level 45 or 46. Well, I thought, let's do the group dungeon to finish off the zone. However, the group dungeon in The Rift, Blessed Crucible, is a level 40-43 dungeon so the grouping tool locks you out of queuing for it. You can only select the next tier group dungeon in Coldharbour for queuing. Maybe I am overlooking some switch in the tool that changes this?

    They should up the grouping tool level cutoff for group dungeons to a level that is realistically attainable for completing all other content up to and in that zone. The tool is there to make grouping easier. It doesn't make sense to force people to use /zone just because they completed all the other content first.

    In general the ESO LFG tool, needs some loving. Still early days though so we got time ! Although with more and more dungeons announced they need to hurry a little

    Also, the grouping tool should allow you to form groups for general questing, world bosses, etc, not just delves and group dungeons.

    Agreed. It would be nice to queue up for the dungeons I skipped while leveling up.

    Damn work commitments, maybe I should book some time off and spend a week completing them all... :/

    I did elden hollow yesterday with a friend that was level 42 on my level 46 char) because he had not done it yet.
    Just the two of us, it was a lot of fun and we died once when overrun.

    So you only need one friend to do it, it spoils it for others if there is a outleveled player in the group. I know because i did city of ash with a V7 in the group and it took 3 mins to complete. I had to run after him and everything was dead before i even got near the bosses

    Doing a level 20-23 dungeon with level 40+ characters, or a level 28-30 dungeon with a VR7 is an entirely different discussion than doing a level 40-43 dungeon with a level 46. :) The LFG tool should be a little more lenient with players who outrank a dungeon by only a few levels.

    They locked lower level dungeons out of the grouping tool because it could be used for some kind of power-leveling exploit. Of course, people found other leveling exploits. I think they mentioned improving the grouping tool as part of the "Dungeon Replayability" changes they are working on.

    So they didnt fix the volatile familar bug like they said. Only reduced the damage until they can get another fix. Though it did say that this was the last patch before update 3.

    Vamps had a 500% speed boost? And what is it now with that set in Mist Form? LOL I haven't seen anyone speeding about that fast so I'll guess it was only a handful of people using it.

    It was the "speed exploit" you would would see time to time. Most of the time it was purely by accident.

    Not always easy when you have two archers together, and dodging one of them puts you straight in the line of fire of the other one...

    Thank you! After long, long waiting i could do Den of Lorkhaj and now entered to to Fal Boyen :) And that Strangler Poison quest works aswell.
