Zenimax, here's an idea for armor and weapon crafting

As per the title, here's an idea for armor and weapon crafting that myself, and I would think, many other crafters would like to see implemented.

We all know that crafted armor and weapons are far superior to dropped armor and weapons, especially when made by a master craftsman. I'd wager that most players also have favorite sets that drop from defeated NPC's, or favorite weapons given from quests. Why not give us the ability to craft those dropped sets and/or rewarded items?

The mechanic is simple. Let's say, for example, an NPC drops a Cuirass of the Unassailable, and it's quality is green (fine) and it's level is V1. Allow us the re-craft this piece of armor to our own level, with our own materials, by turning the dropped piece of armor into a schematic.

Allow us to right-click on the armor/weapon and convert it to a one-time use schematic. This will allow for crafters to make armor sets and weapons according to their level, with their own materials, and also craft sets for other players according to their level and requirements.

Do you have a weapon that you've had in your bank or inventory for the past 30 levels that is all but useless to you, but you like it and kept it? Re-craft it to be of use to you again at your current level.

This would also create a new way to sell armor and weapons. Players can convert all of the weapons and armor drops they have laying around or that they get from dungeons that they don't want, into single-use schematics that can be traded and sold to other players.

Anyway, just a thought. I think it would greatly improve the crafting experience and VASTLY expand upon the variations in armor and weapons, not to mention give crafters a boost since this would place their services in much higher demand.
