There was a self target key bind in the beta. Do you know what happened with this option?

Then let me ask the Templars, how you self heal in PvP? Does it happen often that your skills heal other people but not you?

Almost all heals heal you too.

    What about Honor The Dead?

Yep that hits you too. You are considered a near by ally. Whenever that term is used it includes you

But the skill heals one target, right? If I have 50% health and another player next to me has 40% health and if I use the heal, will I heal myself or the other player?

Yep, most heal spells hit low health targets first. Even AOE heals cant be targeted. If you are solo though you are the only target. Some spells like mutagen always seem to hit you too though, even if you are full health.

1 ability of restoring light has a morph that heal 1 target and other 2 with less (breath of life morph)
2 ability of restoring light heal everyone around the player including the player giving a boos of 30% more heal to the player.

It will heal the other one (same for 'breath of life'). Extremely annoying and not really 'smart'....

Ok thanks for the answers. I played in the beta as a Templar and then there was an option for self targeting by default it was F12. Then when I target myself, all heals go to me. When ZoS removed this option and why? Any ideas?

Assuming the skill heals the player with lowest health, it'll heal the other player. But cast it twice as you'll probably have the lower health the second time. Of course for self-healing you also have potions.

To answer the question, the Self-Target keybind was removed because there is no need to target yourself (all healing spells are AoE or cone, and don't have a target).

Not all of them - Honor The Dead is a single target heal. With the self target it can be used as Green Dragon Blood (DK).

Oh my mistake, I was basing my answer on ESOhead. According to ESOhead, Honor the Dead is an "Area" (AoE/cone) skill that heals one ally (the one with lowest health) within its radius. (Only affects a single target, but is still an AoE/cone skill.)

As the fans repeat endlessly ESO is a 'newgen MMO', one where real healers with a selection of skills for spot and AoE healing/buffing/status-removal don't exist.

    Welcome to the nextgen. :D
