CAP on GUESTS plx

i think guesting needs to be capped once maps get to maybe mid population. Ive been in auriels bow as home since early access. but i cant get into my home map till about 11pm every single night.
now i know what's going on is heaps of folk are home on empty servers so they can dominate the maps there for full buffs and to swap emperor etc... then they all guest on auriels bow to actually fight on a full server.

whats the point of having a home and guest system at all if you don't prioritise home players for that server at a certain point?

i just want to actually get to play on my home server now and again.

I agree with this. I want guesting to exist in some form, when I do guild runs for shards etc I don't want it to be on wabba, for example, because often the players I go with are not prepared for heavy pvp and running the entire map to get the topmost skyshards kind of sucks.

But I don't want guesting to flip the odds when I play on wabba either. I keep it as my home despite not having the buffs as often, because that's where I want to play.

yes i dont think guesting should be removed , but they need to make a priority for folk to get in their home campaign. it's crazy i cant ever get in my home campaign. wots the point then ?
i think a cap from medium would be the best so if you want to be sure to play in a certain campaign you need to make it home and actually play there and earn your buffs. rather than have all the buffs from an empty campaign but play in a busy one and keep other out who have chosen to make that their home.

what makes it worse is i cant even que to get in. i wouldnt mind joining a que and doing some other stuff for a bit . but you cant so its just not even possible to get into auriels bow (EU) unless your on from about 10am cos its then locked till 11pm

yes its just stupid. all the folk in your campaign that actually fight there to try and earn the buffs associated with that campaign will be worse off than all the guests who just come and fill the campaign while using huge buffs from the campaign they dont want to fight in....

how the hell can that be right? at least disable buffs from your home campaign unless your actually in your home campaign.

while guesting is a nice idea, there needs to be some way to prioritize "home" players over "guest" players.

and yes, guesting with all the buffs from the empty home campaign is also strange...
