How will VR 12 characters be converted to the champion system?

Will a VR 12 character (or any VR character) be given an amount of champion points to spend when the new system is implemented or does it have to start from scratch again... or how exactly is it going to work?

    probably just transer over as the exact same "level" since VR points are worth more then normal exp anyways

    They are still very vague and sometimes contradictory. So chances are this is still being decided (that is how early stage that idea is).

    As I interpret it you will get some free Champions points for your Vet levels. It's the common thing to do with this kind of change*.
    But that is only my interpretation.


    *The same way you do not refund on changed Set bonuses and give free respec on major skill changes.

    Its that "PROBABLY" part I have a problem with. When we know exactly, then we can let out a sigh of relief.

    The only time we know any info in this game is in the patch notes. If they don't forget to put the nerf's/changes in.

    If you convert vp to exp at 1 to 1 ratio, your v12 vp give your about 30 million exp.

    If every 100k exp give one champion point. Yout should have 300 champion points.

    It's only fair. Everything else will just be a slap in your face.
