Hey, everyone. We’ve received many questions about how non-Steam customers can get the in-game ESO Whiterun Wolfhound pet that is currently an exclusive part of the Steam offer. While the grey wolfhound will remain an exclusive through Steam, we will be offering a brown version of the Wolfhound pet (tentatively called the Riften Woflhound) at some point in the future. Stay tuned for more details on how you'll be able to get your hands on one.

**** the dogs. It's not like they do jack $#!* Why does everyone want a stupid invincible dog following them around? People buying a steam key to get a dog?? I get that Steam is awesome but you can still add this game as a non-steam game and use chat. It still goes through the eso launcher!

Which only means , some people will have to cool unique one , but so that you dont feel too sad , we will give you a crappy one to put in its place , yey!

Really need to reconsider paying this game just to support it if anything.

Wolfhounds are large but skinny dogs built for speed. Few animals other than a Cheetah can outrun one. They also have wiry hair coats and not fur. So even the best groomed wolfhounds can look quite scraggly and scruffy and a bit underfed.

They are also very sweet dogs.

Doesn't matter. Last thing I ever use in a game is a do-nothing pet. They are nothing more than a nuisance. Most people will put this one away the first time it jumps up between them and an NPC in a shop or bank and never drag it out again. Totally a tempest in a teapot.

I'll just adjust my graphics card again. That should give me a white wolfhound. It'll turn my toon blond again but @ least my doggie will be white lol! XD

I think @Blackwidow‌ was asking about the new pet that Gina announced, not the grey Steam pet. To answer that, they haven't said yet how we can get the pet in-game. Maybe an out-of-game purchase, maybe an in-game purchase, maybe a free reward, maybe something else.
