I've finally had it with the "LOL" button underneath my posts. I mean, it needs to be disambiguated! Every time I rack up a bunch of "LOLs," I don't know if people are laughing with me or at me—or both. So, if the folks at Zeni can't bring themselves to give us a "Disagree" or at least a "Peepeekakapoopoohead" button, that thing needs to be split into a "LOLWY" and a "LOLAY" button. If you agree, just give me a "LOL." Or if you think this is a laughable idea, then... er... give me a "LOL." Okay?

    If it is, then people are probably laughing at it because it's funny.

    Oh, yeah, and while they're at it, that needs to be made into a button, too, considering how often the notion is expressed on these forums.

    Which brings me to another point—we simply can't be limited to clicking just one button per post! I mean, so often my opinion is kinda divided, or I can't make up my mind, or, whatever.

    The disagree button was abused sometime around December or January back in beta and was removed; so that is why we don't have a disagree button. The disagree button was too much responsibility for some people to handle.

    How was it 'abused'?
    By using it?
    To show disagreement?

    Wouldn't that come under the general heading of 'Working as intended'?

    The alternative would seem to be that we all take our Soma and just nod in agreement with every statement either directly by pushing the agree button or indirectly by just moving on thru.
    The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

    We used to have a disagree button, but it was removed due to whining akin to the whole silliness about dog pets going on now. "what do you mean I'm not the special snowflake everyone agrees with?!"

    Exploits suck. Don't blame just the game, blame the players abusing them!
    -Playing since July 2013, back when we had a killspam channel in Cyrodiil and the lands of Tamriel were roamed by dinosaurs.

    disagree button is such a passive aggressive way to dogpile on people. They should just remove those buttons all together.
