So, some things appear to be overpowered. Keyword here is appear, the term "overpowered or OP for short" is a subjective term. This means that what is overpowered appears overpowered in comparison to you and/or those around you. Usually this stems from the class/skill set that you have baring from using this skill yourself. I have yet to see a "harness magicka is to OP" thread, when it is probably one of the best skills in this game.
Allot of people make posts about things being overpowered, and a very common tune is to cry nerf. Now this is not a bad thing, some things are actually broken and need to be fixed, but most things are not.
Common culprits of being called OP are impulse, vampirism, any DK, reflective scales, and the new blazing shield.
Now balance is a hard thing to achieve in a PvP game, simply because players will always die to something, and players are more vocal than NPC's when they die. But what many people forget is that many skills or skill combinations have counters. Some have more than others, but all should have a weakness. If something truly is OP then it should have no weakness.
So in short, if you come by something that is OP look the skills up. Learn how they work and what they do. Fight it again, try new and different things against it. Ask your friends what they use against it. Hit a vampire with fire, attack the impulse hoard with a bow, blind that DK, fake a cast to waste his scales, drop an AOE or use melee when he uses it, and knock back that blazing shield.
Not everything is what it seams, instead of trying to beat scissors with paper, switch to rock. If rock doesn't work, then maybe scissors does need to be reworked.
