When the improved view distance?

Matt said in a recent interview they will look at it, but it will be in the new update? is gonna take months? Any news about it?

I would say that anything a developer ever says during an interview, podcast or public talk isn't something you should count on any time soon.

Hopefully they push it up there, but I'd imagine it's not going to happen for a long time because they have never spoken about it other than there.

I use the FX add-on that 'improves' graphics. It has a feature to remove the fog and it works fine. But then you realise the fog is there to disguise the low res textures.

Urrgh.

I use the eso launcher with sweetfx and minimal ui, the game looks amazing. Even the fog looks good the most of the time, but problem is that you feel sometimes the landscape is too small (and it's not true, it is because of the fog). But once you remove the fog, the mountains and far distance looks horrible as you say. So I play with fog.

I use Steam to launch the game as a non-steam game so I cannot get Sweetfx to work with it. I could, though, if we all got a key for Steam with this new release.
