And it's third on the top sellers list. Good. Exposure like this is exactly what the game needs. The more places ZOS sells the game, the more people are likely to buy it.

PS. Zenimax, please instance dungeons.

Just wait until you see the massive uproar (dubbed Puppygate) that the exclusive pet has caused with the Imperial Edition :/

I could care less about the dog, I destroyed all my other pets... I want the real features of steam that you dont get by adding a "none-steam" game.

You can add games you purchased outside of steam to your steam library.

yea, I don't get the uproar, usually once I have spent money on something it doesn't really matter what happens in the future. every game has had cheap offers to generate interest. it's not like ESO invented it. and since you have to keep the pets in an inventory slot, there is no incentive to collect them since too many will overload the limited space i want for things that matter.

I just chewed them out on the phone over this. I have over a thousand hours played in Skyrim and I want that to be the account I use in ESO since they connect to the exact same servers. They won't even offer the ability to transfer subscription time so I'd basically have to buy the entire game, start a new character, and throw my character down the drain. Even worse, they will be offering the ability to port to consoles, but you can't port to Steam? Totally amateur.

Was going to start a thread, but I'll use your's. Anyone know how I can get my client on Steam so I can write a review for ESO? I've tried importing as a non-steam game and no luck. The main reason is the only reviews that have been put for ESO are bad lol. I would really like to make a non-bias review for this game, give it some deserved love on steam.

Proper idiom is "I couldn't care less". That's what he meant.

So what does that do for you?

My recollection is that's so you can uninstall and reinstall seamlessly with steam?

I honestly wouldn't put much stock into steam reviews. Most people are going to buy games their friends recommend and are playing. So if you want to get out the word of mouth to others about what a great game ESO is, I'd suggest you start with a post on Facebook where all your friends can see it.

I presume that them porting it over to Steam would cost them money, so not really surprising that they aren't doing this for free. Moreover- as the game plays on the same exact server, why would it matter? Perhaps it makes your life marginally easier due to Steam friends lists, but in the bigger scheme if things isn't this a teeny tiny issue???? Oh, and chewing out a tech support or customer service rep for a decision made umpteen levels above their pay grade wont get you very far...

SFBryan - the game you buy from Steam is exactly the same as the one you get normally, but the Steam stuff is hooked in. It is supposed to take you to the normal launcher. Just use your non-Steam login information to play. It doesn't add the wolf pet but does use the other Steam functions.

And, as mentioned above, getting nasty at customer service people doesn't help anybody. All you did was be nasty to somebody who is just trying to do their best at a thankless job. And since it is possible to play the Steam version with your original account it was really more of a bad thing. (Yeah, they weren't told you could do what I described - not their fault.)

great that it is in the top 3. Sadly it already got quite a few bad reviews. They are comparing an MMORPG with a single player game again. Seriously do people not understand that it is impossible to do the exact same thing and the same amount of immersion in an MMO that you can get in a Single Player game....

I wasn't nasty at all. Some people assume too much. I chewed them out, but I wasn't in anyway offensive.
