A company that needs money to pay staff, to continue development on the game and to stay running, has done something to gain money? That's so unthinkable! Sorry Zeni, you're not allowed to grow as a company and make more money, that is just not on!
Stop your crying like a little girl and wake up. without making money, there is no development, staff or servers which means no game. So yes, they can do whatever they want to make more money.

There doing it in very sneaky, untruthly way, if you like being lied to about what your money is really going to ( A beta). Fine by me.

Character transfer will be MADNESS! (no details will cause such)
and people who pre-ordered the disc who also play on PC will hopefully be able to transfer BUT there is no information to suggest such.
More than likely we will buy the $20 console version which should be FREE because the game is selling for $29.99 new in digital versions.
We have to pick character(s) to transfer, instead of just copying the entire account.
Console collectors editions are still $99. WTH for this is just a big mess.
2015 marks the end of the series unless Bethesda takes this over from Zenmiax.
Remember how Activision ruing WoW...

I'm starting to see the F2P sign now, it wont be now, I'd give it 8 months if things dont change and they have to do tricks like this steam promotion to keep this sinking boat afloat a bit longer. Then the console thing will help keep it afloat a big longer, I suspect the game was actually suppose to be ready for PC release in about 8-12 months also. This game has alot missing stuff, the end game wasent thought out well, feels like a rushed game, a theory.

The FPS issue that was causing fps to drop to 5 and stay there in Cyrodil was fixed. Latency issues (for me anyway) in Cyrodil are gone and large siege battles are staying near 50fps on full settings.
Tons of quests were fixed too.
The game took time but it's getting better. I'll always hammer them for technical issues, but when those don't show up while I'm playing the game rocks. I got the Tamriel Hero title the other day by getting all the questing achievements in the game. I really enjoyed most of the quests. The game will be fine. Nothing to see here. Move a long.
Oh, but Craglorn sucks. No way around it. I can't find a group as a v10 Temp healer to quest with at all. All I see is "LF grind group", "LF Tower group to grind". But noone to quest with. Booo Zos...Booooo. Trials are set up so that if you want to compete, you have to go skirt/stick (for the most part). Timers of any kind (including enrage timers) don't belong in a game that is SUPPOSED to allow for more flexibility in play style and builds. That is annoying as hell.
Otherwise, love the game and am really looking forward to some of the things coming down the road

Expect more content that should've been in the game on release, like dyes, and guild tabards,HAHA,oh and a vet dungeon you'll finish in 20 mins that took a month to make perhaps longer.

This is not a thoughtful marketing attempt to bring in more players.
Start with the problem vs. bring more people into a problem.
Finish the game, finish the endgame issue or confusion and then finish the console game.
Selling a game for $59.99in April and then on July 17th selling the same game for $29.99 while the companies website lists $59.99 doesn't bring more people in. it pushes people away.
If you're getting gas for your car and on station lists $3.49 and right next to it another station lists $1.99 for the same company, sure many will go to the cheaper store but when they drive off and the car starts to sputter.....there lies the problem.
Fix the quality of the gas, don't try and sale the gas for a cheaper price. If you sale it cheaper then guess what...its perceived as a lesser valued product indefinitely.
Then customers wont buy from any of the stores regardless of price.

Nobody wants to buy this game for 59.99 anymore. It's out and not new anymore, so they have to sell it for what people will pay for it.

LOL, this again? How many threads on this do we really need? It is called good marketing. No one forced you to buy this game and no one is forcing you to stay.
