DK Nord archer?

So. I have a DK Nord 50 2h - 50 dual wield - 50 draconic power - 40 earthen heart - 32 ardent flame - 50 heavy armour - 37 medium armor...

My fav alts are always the melee based and Nord race, but I always enjoyed archers too, mainly in TES Single player games...so I said to me...well maybe I could level up bow? (level 7 at the moment and poison arrow IV...

Just asking because I'm not sure if this fits or it will end being stupid and a waste of Skill points? Anyway, there are enough skill points to level up everything, isn't it?

If you don't care about min / maxing etc. and play solo most of the time - go ahead. Play like you want to!

It really also depends on your build. I would guess that your builds relies on stamina mostly and magika only on support skills. So bow would be a good choice.

On the other hand though DKs don't have too many ranged dps skills, so you would have to rely on your bow skills only.

But like I said - just play how you want to and no skill points are wasted. Just respec or farm some skyshards if you need more.

Leveling to 50 it would've been fine. Veteran content on the other hand, it just won't perform that well. But given the recent nerf, you may be able to get by without much issue. Lose the heavy armor and stick with medium if you decide to go bows.

Well I would start at vet1...yes my build mainly is stamina based and support magic abilities. I was just killing some enemies and it went fine spamming poison arrow and ccing with petrify,healing me with green dragon blood...
Yes i mainly solo all the time. Some groups here and there and its enough for me. Anyway im not sure what to do. But what im sure is that i wont go staff,and between one handed and bow,i prefer bow atm. But not sure if its a waste of time.

So then,there are enough skyshards to level up the whole skills you want?

DK Does pretty well with bows as the molten weapons increases the damage by loads.

You don't need to put many points into bows for it do well.

Just poison arrow(venom arrow) Arrow spray (bombard) and scattershot.
oh and the passives are just ranger and long shots and accuracy.
