An Unknown Error?

Isn't it time someone figures this out and this error becomes "known"?

Cyrodiil stutters, comes to a halt and disconnects with "unknown error" again and again... and a beautiful gaming night goes out the window once again :(

    Had this happen to me twice last night, but I just figured it was my internet. Maybe not?

    This started to occur a lot after the BIG Tuesday patch.

    I've repaired 5 times since then and later from working with support changed Router ports, redownloaded and reinstalled the game.

    Unknown Error and Data Load Error continues.

    Its you guys not us @ZOS_JasonLeavey .....please fix the server so the majority of gamers can play. The ports that the support had me open was odd considering Xbox Live on my x360, X1, and Titanfall, Battlefield 4, WoW, DIablo3 and Teamspeak all work just fine...only TESO has issues.

    It happens a lot more if you log multiple Alts on rotation for the daily bank/inv dump and have closed the patcher.
    Why does that have to stay open and not close itself is beyond me. It just sits there eating memory doing nothing once your in the game and have the char select window open.
    Being First is not the prize, it just mean's everyone can stab you in the back.

    Wow, thank you for your dutifulness, but no, I have not! I am a paying customer and I just want to have a few hours of fun without continuous fps issues, errors, disconnects, map bugs... and also reportings... if possible of course.

    I think their system doesn't work well with a lot of networking equipment. I had to change my modem because I was getting unkown errors even though it works perfectly fine on every other game and website without any connection or speed issues. Was still always clocking in 20 mbs down and 5 up but I kept getting unknown errors. I got the whole run around, repair, send file, reinstalled the game, reloaded my PC and rienstalled the game. Finally a tech told me that he had the same problem and changed is modem. I did the same and they went away.

    Well the sooner you ask for help in the appropriate avenue, the sooner you should be able to have that happen.

    You're a paying customer, which means you PAY for that support. Use it.

    Unknown error is unknown. I'm sure the over the course of development more and more situations which result in 'unknown' errors have been identified and resolved. Unknown errors are unexpected, if they were expected, they'd be known.

    Unknown error is unknown. I'm sure the over the course of development more and more situations which result in 'unknown' errors have been identified and resolved. Unknown errors are unexpected, if they were expected, they'd be known.

    Me and my girlfriend have discovered that unknown errors can come from add-ons too, thus them being 'unknown' to the game. Esohead being one of them that crashed us out a lot.
