Ha, I have the same problem. Three nightblades and two templars (all in the same faction) and one lowbie dragonknight. I keep making and deleting sorcerers. Still currently in the delete phase.

I've got two Nightblades, had three but wasn't really into the whole warlock thing so got rid. I also have two Templars although one is just an enchantress and does little else.

I just started a Dragonknight, 17 now and too be honest it's too easy to be fun and that's after they were nerfed.

Was back on my NB tonight, I just love the class. I don't understand the negativity, I really don't.

Me too. Apparently getting my Templar to VR12 before the nerf was impossible. Wish someone would have told me before I did it :( (And no I did not grind in Craglorn.)

Not to worry. You have 4 more character slots.

Why make more than one of a class?

Can't you just change moves / respec to change it up?

    Kind of a noob question.

I've got one character. I wanted to play a character in each faction, but then learned that after level 50, you play the other factions anyways, so that killed it.

I don't even bother changing it up, all of my duplicates play the same spec/weapon/armor type. I just like being the same thing on different characters with different appearances and personalities.

I play all the classes, DK used to be the most fun class to play, seem to be a bit more grindy these days. Sorcerors vary immensely on whether you play as a summoner or not, if don't summon then they play completely differently than if you do.

You really should give them a try, if you don't enjoy them, fair enough, but give them a try.

You are not alone. I have been playing since early access and just cannot find a character I can stick with. I enjoy the exploring but I get so bored of the combat with every class that I have to try something different. One of these days I hope to come across that one character that just feels right and then maybe I can play him to the end.

Whichever toon you play first through vet you will realise there are things you could have done differently that would result in a better toon at level cap. Second and maybe even third will probably be more effective in whatever content you play and a more rounded toon overall.

LOL I have a NB alt that I like more than my other characters (Losko Two-Tails, khajit eh eh) and my game buddy has a Templar. He doesn't read the forums so it's always real funny when I tell him that standing to the forum 'experts' he is gimped

@Hilgara‌ I play games for fun, not to be 'effective'

    I have 3 NB (1 mage, 1 fighter, 1 assassin-vamp). 1 DK (mage). 1 Templar(fighter). 3 Sorcerors (1 archer, 1 fighter, 1 mage)

They all play extremely different from each other. In that I am quite happy. Just wish they would add more slots already.

You can always install the EU (or NA if you are EU) server and double the slots ;)

Can't you just change moves / respec to change it up?

    Kind of a noob question.

I run different builds/setups on each one, and in most cases they dont even use the same class abilities.

Dominion Melee Nightblade: runs dual wield with assassination/shadow abilities in medium armor
Covenant Caster Nightblade: runs ice staff with siphoning and vampire abilities in light armor
Dominion Caster Templar: runs restoration staff with dawn's wrath and restoring light abilities in light armor
Covenant Melee Templar: runs two handed / 1h+shield as a tank with aedric spear abilities in light/heavy armor.
I play all the classes, DK used to be the most fun class to play, seem to be a bit more grindy these days. Sorcerors vary immensely on whether you play as a summoner or not, if don't summon then they play completely differently than if you do.

I've taken dragonknight and sorceror both up to the mid teens, and I just dont like the classes. Their aesthetic and combat style doesnt appeal to me, tried going melee and caster on both. I can never seem to even get them to level 20 before I get bored and trash them.

DK's seem to have the best synergies in the game. I have played all classes (although didn't get far on the Templar). There are so many fire damage stacking synergies that also benefit for quite a few crit stacking synergies. On my Sorc and NB it was a matter of seaching them out on the DK I am spoiled for choice.

    Kind of a noob question.

Until you get to VR all the skill points are needed for passives and crafting, there are not really access points to allow you to swap weapons and armor.

Once you get to about VR3+ then yes, you can. I guess it comes down to choice.

Respec's are a bit too expensive to keep changing depending on your mood. I have two NB's because I love both styles. One is a sneak, assassin type character with DW/Bow the other a more in your face warrior type with 2H/sword & board. They could not be any more different in play style. I find both to be great.
