aspect runes, where are they?

I have piles of runestones cluttering my bank and an alt's inventory but I can't make anything because I can't find aspect runes. I am in Auridon and should be able to find at least some TA around somewhere but I almost never see them. Is there some trick to it? I don't belong to a guild and was not planning on joining one since I will be leaving for the console whenever that ship sails, thus, I can't even buy any.

I'm finding a few going back to the starter islands. I agree with you though I'm finding it hard to find aspect runes at the moment. Not sure if it is easier to find them in the starting zones because they are less populated in the alliance I'm in or whether they just have a better drop rate there.

Make sure to get the skill for the chance at aspect extraction in deconstruction if you haven't already.

I have no trouble finding Ta runes. In fact, I (and a few other people) occasionally sell them in chat because they seem to be fairly common. I just harvest every enchanting node I see.

There is also a skill in Enchanting that will increase your chances of getting Aspect runes when you break down glyphs, you might consider that as well to help out a bit.
