Applying glyphs put different stats on armor?

If I apply a glyph that's supposed to add 96 hit points, why does it end up putting 43 hit points? Sometimes they even put higher number like 103 on there.

their are 3 bigger pieces of armor, legs/jacket/helm they give more and then thier are smaller pieces of armor, that gives less

Yes. On main armor - head, body, legs - glyphs made a full effect, but on other pieces of armor effetc is low.

Chest/leg\helm give full effect, the rest give about half the value or a third.

The Trait 'infused' also increase the effect.

the glyphs scale. so a glyph that covers say level 40-50 will apply less to the level 40 piece and what is says to the level 50 piece.
Basically the number it shows is what it will add to the max level item it can be applied to and scale down for everything else.

This is stupid. All armor should have the same. My god.

Well it needs to be spelt out clearer but it makes sense that different sized pieces have differently strengthed enchants.

Most of the complaints are that it isn't shown until after you use the glyph.

Yeah there really need to be something in game that tells you what you're actually getting. I bought a bunch of 93hp glyphs and they ended up being 43hp.

They can't really tell you what they're going to be before you buy them since they don't know what armor you're going to put them on, so I'm thinking they need to break them down into separate categories. IE: glove glyphs, helmet glyphs, etc.
