NB melee

My character is a high crit, med armour, stealth,bow/DW, high stam/magicka low health build. In open melee I have nothing which can compete, which is expected really. But I was wondering if any other NBS find they can compete on their own melee and if so, what skills do you use?

Melee is boring. You can't really bob, weave and juke to make opponents miss you while hitting them on the counter. All you have is "hit, hit, hit, snooze, snooze, snooze, zzz...."

Boring, BORING. BORING.

And sharing my "resource pool" with blocking/sprinting/roll dodging/heavy attacks? Now that was a crap-for-brains maneuver. A manure maneuver. A lot does need to change.

The only melee people who I know that are any good all rely on 2h AOE spam.

I don't really melee apart from ambush, concealed attack, flurry and run. The sword and board crowd are tricky unless its a nb. I need a skill to stun in open melee so I can do decent damage.

I can't comment on the pvp crowd, but for pve I run a Tank Imperial NB using heavy armour with sword and board and a 2h for my off hand. 49 health, stamina enchants. This build is very survivable, but lacks any serious dps unless I heavy attack from stealth to get a massive crit with the 2h. I use only 2 class skills in the entire build: funnel health and siphoning attacks. The rest of the skills are from the s&b and 2h lines.

I have a lot of fun power slamming (bash morph) the mobs into a stun mode while I pick out a specific mob to kill. I may not kill fast, but I get he job done. The only complaint i have about the build is the fact that melee dps falls way short to it's destruction staff counterpart. I would love to see the 2h get some upgrades to make it a more powerful line like the destruction staff line and let us have the heavy armour melee bashing dps machine.
