Leaving guild & what happens to purchases in the Mail

What happens if u quit a guild but haven't opened ur mail from ur purchase in that guild store. Either leaving doesnt effect the mail, because the transaction all ready occurred OR ur money is refunded but the items in ur mail attachments would be gone.
I am a few dead guilds i want to leave. i bought a lot of rare items from 3 guilds a month ago. One or two of the guilds are dead but the mail i got which i am holding, doesnt say which guild u bought it from. So there is no way to tell which i would need to open to keep from losing the transaction. I hold off taking attachments, if its sooner than 30 days because we have so little bag space.
Anyway any help on this is appreciated.

When you quit a guild or get kicked from it the items will expire and will be sent to you or will be bought and the money sent to you.

That's what i am hoping. I know if you have items listed for sale, and one leave or are kicked from guild, the items are returned to you. I think that is what 'pierceoftheender' is saying, but that's not my question.
I will assume the mail is permanent and hope for the best. I do know if sell an item, i get payed fast and i am sure must be holding the mail to save space on there inventory. i rarely see things sell i list that approach the 30 day mark, so it i am guessing its safe and the mail is permanent.
