We can do a lot in this game. We can respec all our skills and abilities. Dyes will be coming soon. What if a respec was taken a bit further?
I've noticed that with a lot of my characters, the minute they hit VR1, I wish they were something else. My Argonian DK would be better off a Templar. My Templar might be better as DK.... My Nightblade should have been a Sorc. and so on.
This is in no small part due to being able to play each class and getting comfortable with each type and learning over time the strengths and weaknesses and the utter difference the game is 1-50 vs. VR levels. I contemplated just re-rolling and spending a few months re-grinding to 50. Going over the same content that just took me months.
Yeah, I could do that... but she is also my only level 35 enchanter.
No way in hell do I want to ever do that *** again. No. There's "this is super boring" and there is "enchanting."
For now, I've respecced my DK into a pure crafter but I miss her a lot. I want to play her again, but each time I play, I get that little whisper in the back of my head, "You rolled wrong. Should have been a Templar."
Is this a feasible request? I get that some people would just be FOTMing for PVP purposes, but what if it was something that was difficult? Like, a $20-30 cash store difficulty or something outrageous? I just want some option of rectifying my mistakes that isn't "spend another three months grinding and going over the same content." so I can continue to play the game with the same fervor as when I started.
Is there anyone else out there that would want to see something like this or is the idea too OP for Reasons?
