The Twitch today had a lot of good info.
I like the champion stuff but I missed a few things. Are they dropping ppl all to level 50 and incorporating the champion skill points and moving peoples VR levels to give them champion points.

I'm just not a fan of this level VR or a level Champion designation. Hoping that it's level 49 or 50 then the passive skills are champion or be passive that can be selected as the champion or be skills are earned.

Thus opening all level be weapons and gear to level 50 as it should be with improved stats based on the VR lvl requirement those items had.

Apart from this free respec, are there gonna be new quests once you are level 50? What is gonna be the difference between veteran levels and champions levels? If a respec is offered for free, menas that a lot of of things are gonna change regarding builds? Maybe we will be able to have stamina builds being as good as the magicka ones?

Guy even dropped a little info on update 1.4
I think a lot of the stuff he talked about plus even more new stuff will be revealed at Quakecon next week.

Given the number of questions he answered and amount of info revealed, I'm surprised the forum isn't full of speculation threads about what was talked about. Especially the stuff about the veteran system being replaced with the champion system for post 50 character progression.

I really hope the cost is at least cut in half. So far, all my extra gold has gone towards respec. I am only in Rivenspire (level 28) but at that level, gold is hard to come by and I'm out 4100 gold because of a couple useless abilities I didn't need. There's no room for trial and error, and while I'm lucky Sorcerer is pretty easy to pick skills for, I can only imagine the more difficult classes like Nightblade where the wrong choices could hurt a lot more.

People thought I was mad when I said console release was delayed so they could completely redesign vet content. It seems vet content at console release will be very very different to at pc release. Pity I do t buy lottery tickets anymore.

Awesome, thats good news. I understand a cost, but at 100G per point, it was just a little pricey. with this drop in price, however, i can see them putting some sort of limit on the amount of respecs. Or not, that would make me even happier.

The biggest issue in this game right now is "OMGZ TRIALS WITH STICKZ AND DRESSES" at least now people who's normal spec is not that, can have the option to do a respec for a while and fill the role they intend.

Veteran Ranks are not going away. Veteran Points is what is being removed and they are going to the Champion System.

I've had to respec so many times since release that I've honestly stopped caring about the cost. I'm probably at 10+ times by now; I stopped keeping track a while ago after the 6th respec...
I suppose this will make it more manageable for other people though.

I got the impression that veteran levels are gone and you earn champion points that you spend on unlocking passives. The points unlocked count towards all your alts and respecs will be cheap to encourage experimentation.

Gear will be released in "seasons" with the current season being the best gear but past seasons gear being easier to get to allow new level 50's a chance to catch up quickly.

Only listened to it once and there was a lot of content so apologies if I completely misunderstood what was said but this is my interpretation.
