I think he meant expensive as in the expense of running 2 separate servers for consoles.

Oh then yeah its expensive for Zenimax. That means 6 Megaservers

There was QnA a while back that addressed that each game would be on its own MEGA server.
Now here is the odd part, Who is hosting/paying for what.

Xbox One offers developers to rent servers, I don't think PS4 has this offer but to any extent it may not be as expensive as we think but its not cheap.
